Josh from Carrollton, GA. You may not realize how much your stories mean to some of us but your videos have gotten me through allot. My wife and I lost our first son a year ago as an infant. He passed away in my arms at at the hospital. At 27 years old I was destroyed inside. I've listened to your videos for 3 years and they've always somehow seem to align or relatewith whatever is going on at the time. The video of your dad got me through that experience. My wife had even seen the effect your videos have had on me and on our honey moon she even went through the time to find your shop so I could meet you. There is so much more to the story but this is supposed to be a comment not a book. You have possibly been the greatest influence in my life in this last 2 years. Reminds me of the time that I was towing a car home from far away and stopped for food part way… Didn’t notice anything that night but the next day when I was unhooking the trailer I noticed the clevis pin was missing for my hitch pin and the hitch pin had rattled part way out!
As a sales pro…past and future…there’s nothing more annoying than grown adults refusing to make decisions or trying to re-neg on decisions because they need the approval of another person….spouse or otherwise

Also if you take it all apart,use a new cotter pin everytime ,if u can ,if not write a big stickem note n put on ur dash,BIG LETTERS,NEED NEW COTTER PIN ,SO U CAN GET ONE SOON....

Seen a couple wheels come off (worked in dealerships for years before I was diagnosed with CF) and its scary. Glad it was caught early. Cant fix crazy (if it was someone who did it on purpose). Love the stories. You have seen ALOT haha.
Well, I wish I'd seen this episode earlier. I would have said that if you send me that plate I'd give it to my 12 yr old daughter. She LOVES all things vehicles. I've already gotten her a RUC t-shirt that she begged me for. So she rocks the RUC at school and loves it.

Noticed the wheel shaking up front about 5 miles from her house. Shop "new guy" forgot to put the cotter pin back in. They paid to have it fixed. Thanks for the stories, Love your channel
I was thinking the same thing, whoever put the brakes on the truck, never put the pin in it, and it just took a long time for that nut to unthread far enough to be a problem, everybody knows those spindles have a ton of threads, so it just took a long time for that back to back it’s way off but it’s a blessing no matter what that no one was hurt or killed, but it was probably never there since whoever put the brakes on it

Owning a small business has its ups and downs, I always watch Rob to get me to keep digging and turn this small business into a really big business. I have two signs hanging in my garage/woodshop. Both of my grandparents were small business owners and I have an old sign from each one of their small businesses. And I have the perfect spot for Rabbits plate to hang with them on the wall. And hopefully when I get this business a little bigger I’ll be able to either build or move into an actual shop. Thanks for all the advice Rob and I can’t wait to see the tv show.
Rabbit! I always ride solo in my w123 turbodiesel coupe, this plate would compliment it really good on the front! I even got a nice custom bracket for it. I am in SoCal, name is Big Bo, would love to have this on my G Ride!

I’ve been an avid watcher since your VinWiki days and stumbled across your Boss Mentality video. In that story, you say you vividly remember your father telling you, “There’s no one in that school, there’s no one on this f*cking planet better than you…” Well, I vividly remember you saying those words because I needed to hear them. Right before each quiz or test, I’d rewatch the video to remind myself of that. Whenever I got stuck on a problem, I’d whisper the phrase and try to find a way to solve it. How do I know I passed because of you? I passed by 2%!! If I had given up on just a few of those problems, I would have failed again. I thought about writing this to you in a letter, but the license plate is a good excuse. Regardless, I owe you a big THANK YOU for getting me passed!!!!

Danny from Flora, il. Went to Greenville to spend the weekend in 88, stayed 3 years. Still have family in Greenville, Easley, Columbia and Charleston. I should have stayed out there! Picked up my first car that had been repo'd from a finance company after I worked for a bit in Anderson...a 1984 Z28 5.0 HO, one of my favs to date. It's been a love affair for cool cars ever since. Anyway, my youngest son we'll call "Pete" was never into cars at all BUT after finding your videos and hearing my stories about living out there, he's hooked! He talks cars now and, sends cools listings to talk about and is saving his money while serving in the Army for that perfect car he wants. So as a dad, thank you for giving my son something enjoy. I can't even imagine the smile on his face if he opened a package and it was a SOLD tag signed by ol Rabbit himself!!
No cooling off period in my state. I can’t count how many times we’ve told people there’s no cooling off period and they still try and back out. Usually we make two car deals out of it and find a way but some people you’ll never make happy.

Matt Evans, I live up in the Pacific Northwest state of Washington right now we have about 2 feet of snow on the ground. I would love to have the sold novelty plate for my 1976 K5 blazer that was my first truck out of high school. I saw that in 2012 but my dad found it while scrolling on the interwebs and bought it back for me. The same exact truck. It’s actually kind of funny the first time I got the blazer it was sitting in the field for six years. The second go around it hadn’t been licensed for five years. 😂

Been watching since you were on Vinwiki I’d love to have a tag to hang on the wall in my garage but I do have another idea I think would be cool There’s a small auto museum on Route 66 in Kansas (Gearhead Curios in Galena KS). They collect tags donated from around the world and hang them up on the ceiling in their building. Rabbit, if you feel so inclined, I think a Sold tag would look great up on that ceiling. It might even get up next to one I sent them awhile ago

I used to work for a huge nationwide construction company. One day, my boss calls me in and tells me they just fired a guy and he has a company truck (Ford F-350 Diesel) and he wants me to go get it and drive it back to the main office. I had to fly from LAX to Batton Rouge, LA - go to his house and get the truck. As I am just about to the guy's home in the back of a taxi, the boss calls me and tells me two things: 1. Tell the cab driver to wait 2. CHECK THE OIL BEFORE YOU START THE TRUCK! Sure enough, I had to have the cab driver take me to Auto Zone and back - with a case of oil!

For your consideration... What if guy's wife (or how about her BOYFRIEND?) removed the cotter pin. If a wife decides she has an unnecessary husband, stuff like this happens. Removing the cotter pin seems like a very PERSONAL act. Like a crime of passion. Way too calculated to be done by somebody who got his way with the REFUND he wanted. . ~Husband dies in his NEW TOY truck. Takes care cf two problems at once.
