On March 5, Romero went to the Bubble Time Express Carwash in Thornton. When her car wasn't properly cleaned the first time around, she went again. Both times, Romero says a faulty track caused her to lose control.
Lose control? You are supposed to leave the car in neutral and take hands off the wheel on a conveyor carwash system IE relinquish control. It's the people who think they need to steer or put their car into drive on these systems that fuck things up...
After watching the video I bet the first person hit the brakes and the roller ran under their car so now they are just sitting there 2nd person now gets pushed into the first person I worked at a conveyor carwash before and saw people do the most retarded shit all the damn time.
Right or what? I work at an express exterior tunnel wash, see it all the time customers that don't know how to put it in neutral, try to drive straight through, jump rollers, steer, don't pay any attention. It's their own fault... I'm sorry you can't see a sign FLASHING "Neutral" "No Steering" "No Brakes" "Wipers Off, Thank You" on our entrance arch.
Bubble Time appears to be quite a modern wash, I highly doubt there's any issues with your conveyor as we have the exact same unit at the wash I work at and rarely ever have any issues with it. It's mainly customers putting their foot on the brake pedal at the end... Half of them wont admit they're in the wrong causing the accident, until you prove it to them on camera. Plus there is anti-collision stop built with those conveyors to prevent a collision.
