Dan this is Bill I watched almost all your videos just about when you get those big old gag groupers you're awesome dude you know how to spearfish real good and you're good at it I appreciate you I'll keep on watching your videos
Love your videos brings back such memories. The one and only time I dove 21fathom in Daytona. I shot a massive gag. Looked like I stoned it until I grabbed the jaw. It took my arm up to my shoulder and shook me like a rag doll and ran. I am a big dude too lmao! That grouper kicked my ass! By the time my brother got over to help and I got my regulator and mask back the fish pulled off the spear. haha in hindsight I'd never try and spear such a big grouper again. Power head time. Fun times!
Most of the stops for decompression are edited out unless there is something extra to be seen . Next time look closely at the lower left corner of the computer and you see the feet below the surface . It will skip from look to look because of the editing .
Haha I hope you had a little discussion about being (foolish) not my choosen words about shoving your hand In a fish's mouth with sharp pointy teeth before it is dispatched.. ah the crap that happens on the bottom... I shoved my hand in a hole to pull out a big ole lobster and didn't see the Moray he was snuggled up with. I had some thick gloves on but he still got plenty of penitration I to my hand. He bit and balled up on my arm and it was all I could do to rip him and my arm out of the hole. He wasn't letting go so I helped him go to sleep with my dive knife so we could cut him off my hand... That little incident caused me to receive about 15 self given stitches back on the boat. It took longer to dig all the broken teeth out of my hand then to stitch it up.. l always look in holes alot better now before my arm or hand goes in haha.
Dude, going down 250 feet is way too deep. Here in Brazil you can't do scuba-fishing with scuba. whoever dives at that depth are stowaways here, even so they use a hose with surface air to breathe, very crazy. I've dived with their amateur gear once, but the air is horrible. They use it more for hunting lobsters. Happy diving!!!!
