Last week i eat 200g of protein without any carb for one day and hit legs. I almost passed out in the gym and had to buy a hydration drink to combat it. Eat carbs people

Primary energy source is such a bullshit, yes in intense activity they provide the EASIEST source of energy, and other sources cant keep up, but most of us have enough glycogen stored anyways so maybe just eat a banana while training. Overall something that is absolutly correct is that simple sugars can be cut out of your diet completely and the effect will be 99% positive. If you wanna cut, def. focus on reducing carbs, your carbs are the only macro that your body actually doesnt need at all. Protein and healthy fats keep your cells healthy and provide for so many body functions besides "just" energy. tbh. you can go keto and supplement with other stuff like coffein to keep high energy levels, because over time your lipide metabolism is gonna be better and better, yes it takes weeks or even months to have a similar experience, but then you are even more durable because your energy levels are extremely stable and your blood sugar levels are just as high as needed which is extremely healthy. You dont have a sugar rush no more, which can be good for workouts, but the health benefits are insanely good. You dont have to hate on carbs, healthy complex carbs are so good for your body, but you dont need them not even for high intensity exercise. And btw. people process nutrients differently, so make sure to test arround.

carbs are in fact NOT essential. Are they great? yes. Do they greatly enhance performance and overal wellbeing? yes. But they are not essential. Your body can metabolize fats and proteins for energy. Carbs is probably the only macro that is not fully essential for your body's function

The six essential nutrients are vitamins, minerals, protein, fats, water, and carbohydrates. People need to consume these nutrients from dietary sources for proper body function. While some organs can learn to live without carbohydrates, others can't. This means that it is a good idea to include carbohydrates in your diet as they are the easiest way to provide glucose to your body. Do your research before you start talking.

Theres nothing inherently bad with carbs as long as its consumed at a relative rate to daily protein consumption. Also telling people to not take carbs will leave them weak as hell lol, good luck trying to get stronger
