Here are some tips: -Poop can be used as soil so you can grow more food -Thw coin chest can be used to buy stuff diretly, no need to take the coins out first

I got this game on a whim and have put more hours into than I'm proud to admit. Quite addicting

The one thing I love about this game is that you can pause it at any time and rearrange cards. My first time playing i completed it by building up food eco, then sinking resources into loads of sheds, basically spent the first 13 moons doing nothing but expansion of my card cap while consolidating my food eco and villager cap, then sorta just went on a huge spending spree. Had three coin chests full of coins, and generally just kicked ass. You can cheese the big scary enemy by having your working vills in the other corner of the map and using one vill (who can be working a resource if you want) to kite the enemy up and dosn the far edge. enemies try to attack villagers, but not soldiers.

It’s so refreshing to see Tyler play this, he’s the only RU-vidr so far to play with actual common sense and understanding

I am waiting for this game to update... it looks like the new update is going to introduce a bunch more cards... The concept of the game is legendary... I think you should play it after the new update, I am sure they are going to make it more challenging, I presume...

This looks really fun! Weirdly reminds me of Frostpunk with the real-time resource management and the race against impending doom. Would love to see more!

Currently, there's an infinite loop in the game, where you can sell the cards you get from the first or the second pack for as much, and sometimes for more that you bought it for.

I got into this game when I recently saw another person cover it. Now my favorite RU-vidr is playing it? Good times. This is one of the few games that's gotten me to download it and play a bunch of runs.

9:01 The Wiggles reference made my day in a way I didn't know I needed

Most important tip I can give you. Press space to pause. Pausing only stops the timers. You can still do everything that does not require time to pass while paused. Think FTL style pausing. Other than that, it's fairly easy to minmax in this game when going for coins. Measure things in coins every 10 seconds. Same for food. Measure things in active food production every 10 seconds and passive food production every moon. I personally prefer to always count passive food production as better, even when it produces less food.

Reminds me of Cultist Survivor but with a more 'traditional' RTS/colony builder bend

Hey Tyler! I remember watching you back during the first btb battles days and i’ve been loving watching all the stuff i’ve missed since then. Have you played/heard of the game Outer Wilds? It’s an exploration puzzle game that I think you might enjoy, keep up the amazing content!

You should look at Cultist Simulator if you liked this game. It has very similiar mechanics to this game, but instead of buying packs you get cards out of card interactions. The theme and atmosphere are of course entirely different.

For some reason I was surprised it was already over, and that the video is less than 20 minutes long. Not really sure what I was expecting, but I hope this turns into a nice series.

I really enjoyed this game however I’ve gotten to an infinite point that made it kinda boring tbh… It took me a few runs to get to this point but I’ve completed every quest and made it to a point that redoing the final quest is actually easy… I have established an infinite source of the highest value food to support a group of the most expensive villagers… there’s not much left to do because the difficulty doesn’t appear to scale. My same set of stuff has lasted over 100 days. I don’t want to restart either cuz I haven’t lost yet, but the current run isn’t exciting anymore. It’s a lot of fun otherwise and I’d definitely still recommend it, but I think it needs a little more for me to keep playing my endless run…

I saw the first minute and decided that I’d play it before watching, bought it and finished it on my third run so that was sweet, still have a few cards to collect

If it wasn't for the ability to pause and set up your cards, I feel like this game would overwhelm alot of people. however, a fun challenge for vet players down the line would be a no pause "speedrun" to whatever end game content this game will have. Hope to see more of this game for it has alot of promise.

If you like the card based gameplay, you might also like Cultist Simulator. Its a game where you build up a cult, and is best played with as little knowledge about it and figuring out what to do as you go along.

This game wasn't what I was expected at all, never before have I seen a video and in the very first minute immediately wanted to get it myself. Would love to see more of this from you! Love the videos as always!

"moon" is traditionally used to denote the amount of days, not months. its simply the aomunt of times the moon has appeared int he sky. reason why i feel this is correct is because many books use this technique of marking the days.

... This is gonna sound as weird as heck, but this reminds me of a game called Cult Simulator. It had the same card-based stack-cards-ands-someting-happens-on-a-timer mechanic. There's even a survival mechanic. Buut the recipes are more set up to get powers from the Old Ones and less basic find-strawberries. (i'm dead serious.)

Hey Tyler you should check out "Temp zero" it's a pretty new rougelike I think you'll enjoy and after beating all the levels there's plenty of challenges to try if you want some extra difficulty or want to squeeze a few more videos out of it :p

The moment I saw this played on the blitz channel was the moment I thought of tyler playing this

Seems similar in gameplay to 'Cultist Simulator', but with wildly different theme.

Things the game could really benefit from: 1) Right click a stack with a card (or cards) in hand to add them to the bottom of the stack. 2) Right click a stack with an empty hand to move the whole stack from the bottom.

Little tip, you can drag the chest to buy stuff instead of getting the coins out of it!

Soil + carrot isn't as broken as it used to be, but still works for sustainability.

You should try out Cultist Simulator if you find this enjoyable. It is however quite difficult and somewhat reliant on mechanics you learn throughout playthroughs.

please organise your cards: food stuf in one corner , ressources in another ,…. it’s so hard to find anything and you will get confused if there is an emergency but great video and game nonetheless

a tip: make lots of sheds, then you dont have to sell so much stuff every week and can keep stuff around until you want to sell it, not need to sell it
