@@aaronbruceladner1983 ok that makes since now!!! Thanks for the info. In the mid 80s I was in elementary school. But when I think back at the gameshows, it seems like a alot of host were hosting 2 or more gameshows at the same time. Just like Love Connection and Scrabble hosted by Chuck Woolery
From 1987 to 1991, Alex Trebek Did Double Duty, Hosting JEOPARDY! and CLASSIC CONCENTRATION. In 1991, He Also Hosted a Brief Revival of TO TELL THE TRUTH.
You can win $32,000 on the turn of a card, on...... Card Sharks! And if you play your cards right, you can win this beautiful car! And now, the host of Card Sharks, Bob Eubanks!
@@JennieLovedoll my late maternal grandfather used to watch this version of CS when it came out in 1986. This theme music got 1980s nostalgia & vibes written all over whenever I hear it.
This is the second of 2 versions of the theme songs made specifically for the '86-'89 revival of *Card Sharks* hosted by Bob Eubanks and the '86-'87 syndicated version of *Card Sharks* hosted by Bill Rafferty.
"You Can win $32,000 on the turn of a card on ....'CARD SHARKS'! And if you play your cards right, you can win this beautiful car! And now, the host of Card Sharks, BOB EUBANKS!" "This is Rohan Padiyar speaking for Card Sharks. A Fremantle Production.
My revival idea, and this i had thought of for like a celeb game. Aces high! Duces low! You call it right, you win the dough! On ........ card sharks! Today on this special celebrity game, if either Jaina Lee Ortiz or Jai’len Josey can play their cards right, one lucky viewer can win 100 thousand dollars! And now, here’s the host of our show, mario lopez!
I always thought that the 1986 "Card Sharks" theme sounded a lot like "Don't You Want Me" by Jody Watley. And the "Body Language" theme sounded a lot like "Wanna Be Startin' Something" by Michael Jackson.
And when they did Game Show Marathon they used the Double Dare 76/Card Sharks 78 version. But hey Edd K. did this one too, and also composed the Nick Double Dare game theme too.
For Card Sharks itself. I prefer the 1986 theme. Sounds like 1980's Casino marketing music. Maybe with u its the syth in the Double Dare76/Card Sharks 78.
^ That doesn't matter; the Dawson and Combs versions of _Family Feud_ were on different networks and they used the same theme (well... a remix, but still).
