So does Stern Blaukruger work like this. Stern attacks, it hits, twin drive check. Then when it can attack again, it trigger checks for one card?

I noticed that when the Pale Moon player soulcharges he put the card on the top of the soul, directly underneath the Vanguard, but the official rules says that you must put it in the bottom of the Soul.

@Dx7ReTURN7xD Yes, it loses the "Twin Drive" ability but it still checks for one card as it's the Vanguard and you get to drive check everytime you attack.

can you do yugioh matches? I am quite familiar with both yugioh and cardfight vanguard.

Nevermind, some websites says that you put it on the bottom e some says that you put it on the top, now i am confused x_x, this is very important to Pale Moon if you use Golden Beast Tamer, since you can end up sending a Crimson Beast Tamer from soul to drop zone.

@ThatGuyWithTheMorphs Needed a back-up G3 in case Stern didn't pull through. Plus an 11k rearguard is also a good bonus too because it would hit 11k vanguards with no problem.

@TheKitsuneBlue As a Stern user, I can actually answer your question. If you aren't in danger of losing to the first hit, or if you want to be bold, you can let Stern hit and then guard after the Counterblast because they -1 their hand. This puts you in a better position to hit them next turn even if they discard Grade 2 units because those are good Null food. Because of that, its not really as bad as it sounds.

@CrownlessKing100 Yeh, he boosted and stood the Cerberus when he could've put power Robert to make it hit and stood up Cerberus to attack the RG stern.

@lazerion1703 Death Army units are only ideal if you're running a stand-engine with Stern. Mine's made from a Crit-Draw engine which I find that trying to do both engines at the same...

True but even if he did block with Lark/Luck Pigeon, he was out of hand/interceptors to guard for the leftover attack.

Wait... If he had a Null Guard in hand, why would he EVER let that Stern Blaukreuger hit? All he did by letting it hit was give him an extra 1 Damage and letting the opponent check for three triggers.

Actually he couldn't. Lark Pidgeon's a 10,000 shield while Aya had two 5,000 interceptors. Aya needed one more 5,000 shield to guard both sides D;

On your first match, you had Luck Pigeon in the soul. Luck Pigeon can guard from the soul if you don't have a hand.

A terrible situation for your opponent is the only time Stern Blaukluger can win. I have no luck with the deck at all. I've only gotten the ride chain ONCE in 30 different matches.

@fire12 They are, just... very heavy on managing the field and soul moreso than other clans.

the reason for attack the rear- guard is to avoid the opponent to intercept.

I've attacked the rearguard with Vanguard and some of the better player at my locals do the same. Although, I only do it get to get rid of Toms and Palamedes.

well sometime you attack an annoying rearguard by using a vanguard wasn't a bad idea after all cause it will pressure your opponent whether to guard it or not to guard it...

Well, he did that because Robert is only a 10k, Stern was an 11k. Anyways, even if Robert could hit the Vg, hitting a Rg is not always bad. It depends on the situation.

@lazerion1703 ...time drags the overall power down as a whole. You're better off doing a deck with one system or the other and not be a jack-of-all-trades type of deck unless you make it

Again you're entitled to your opinion, but considering your VG drive checks just means you'll have a guaranteed kill on something you don't want to deal with. Not to mention in this specific situation, hitting the Vanguard would have given Psychol0gist enough counterblast to use Stern. You have to think about you're moves and what implications it will have, mindlessly bashing the Vanguard gets you nowhere against an experienced player.

fuck this game, i loved the series so much, and also the game, but the cards were too damn expansive. they expect that people who play card games like yugioh, who pay houndreds of $ on them, will move from or play also in their new game, and spend houndreds of $ again? i remember wanting to build an pale moon deck, then seeing this 1 card costs 40$ which 4 copies means 160$... for 4 pieces of paper... yugioh and magic are here for years, how do you think you gonna become something like this?

but..but..THATS SUCKS! Vanguard in Rearguard it sucks,Vanguard in Vanguard its normal and good,itsless chance to damage,Vanguard have more chance to hit your opponent,cuz rearguard dont have drive checks. I Play CF-Vanguard since was released,and always when i fight with some Vanguard Fighter,i never attack VG in RG,Never I do not approve this.
