It is awesome to know that I've basically been doing such things once for no good reason now makes perfect sense, i still want to create a new engine I've been thinking about since, I've always wanted to do something different from what is seen, i want to make something you wouldn't think possible, possible :).
I was really thinking about joining the motorsports career, but this "engineering background" threw me up, i just love building and doing mechanic things!
is there any opensource math on racing suspension setup that this channel could recommend? im working on my own math, but im always looking to improve upon my theory
@@prana6854 i found some, and made an app on both my PC and my phone to quickly use that math to make a setup, and while it was a quick way to get a setup, downloading them off of someone else and tweaking their setup was usually the best way. i don't remember and i don't wanna search for it again, but it's out there. and what i found wasn't that usful.
Why, often non engineering qualified people will wipe the floor with "engineers", people can pick up the maths fairly quickly if they have the background. Jack Brabham for example built fast cars and would use his engineers to do what he wanted,Would Jack survive today my answer is yes, I recognise 1 of the older guys as being Jim Clarke's mechanic.A background in engineering would be a help but in the end all it did for me was to teach how to learn and how to problem solve.I have seen known computer people without finishing high school without completing in charge of a few hundred programmers & engineers. I knew a Polish engineer with 1 diploma after his name who was a simply a genius, photographic memory, outwardly very cool, and totally brilliant as an engineer. Also he was always updating his knowledge and that is the key is a person always learning.

+Alex Dalton - No it isn't a sport, there aren't actually an people directly competing against each other with any physical exertion. Kind of like saying "E-Sports" are sports, when clearly they aren't, but only a competition at best.
