Being voluntarily placed in administration means the current owners cannot continue trading due to financial losses. The administrator tries to salvage some money for the stakeholders and owners. The collapse will affect 24 stores owned and operated by CJ's Group, which will close immediately. 25 individually owned and operated franchises will continue operating.
This whole review says it all. You only visited because of the threat they may go bankrupt. Otherwise you don't bother with them like he rest of Australia. That brekkie was pathtic for nearly $20
I had to giggle when it came time to review the pancakes and you said "that's a cute little box", and yes i am a man child... My favourite item on their menu is the jalapeño burger, cheers for the review and keep them coming.
Even in NZ Carls Jr is "its food, its fine" at best. Maybe you have the munchies after smoko, or you're really hammered with the boys, Carls Jr might be the thing you settle on. Nobody I've ever met willingly goes to Carls Jr if anything else is available.
sounds good. i would definetly go to a carls jr somewhere in my city of sydney to get one. their not bad. they would definetly off the best breakfast & burgers around. they seem to be a lot bigger than mcdonalds and hungry jacks now. i think because of the american fast food resturants that had landed in australia. their intention was to break into the australian market by bringing more of their U.S brand here.& expanding it into every australian location. with U.S brands coming down under too. we could see Wendys & popeyes. thats going to be more new competition for mcdonalds and hungry jacks. because the fast food industry is been changing so much. now that our country had flourised with american brands setting up shop here. i think mcdonalds and hungry jacks still do ok on their breakfast bacon and eggs, their still at leeast been cook fresh and hot. i have only had taco bells in blacktown a couple of times. their menu is not bad. carl jrs is a new try for me.
It seems finding good staff who consistently work hard & to expected standard is super challenging at the moment...I find any & every fast food purchase to be a gamble in terms of the product served, it's either on point or slapped together by someone completely indifferent. The standout is GYG, who always seem to get things right (especially that amazing big brekkie burrito).
Yes! Though I would say this one was made up to standard - it’s just the concept isn’t that amazing. GYG are normally really good, though sadly I have had a disappointing breakfast burrito once or twice. Normally really great though 👍
Their breakfast menu is literally the only thing I ever went there for (except for when I tried the burgers you'd reviewed and I got curious). I use past tense as a Victorian. It was a pain for me to get to a Carl's Jr. though so it was a very very rare visit and I'd usually get the breakfast burger with the gems in it. I think a US-accurate Wendy's or Jack in the Box might do better here if they don't do the usual thing and cut down the menu and overcharge for everything due to the US hype novelty like every other US import chain does. I'd actually be curious to see how an Arby's would do here. We don't have any direct fast food equivalent to Arby's to my knowledge.
Indeed! They specialise in roast beef, don’t they? You can’t even get a roast beef sandwich from Subway anymore (and we are worse off as a society for it)
CJ's Yuck disgusting served me a nearly raw chicken burger I took it back to the counter showed them they never gave a flying Fck about it that was the last time I went there about 5 years ago The store was Rothwell northside of Brisbane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thumbs up for the video
Sheesh! Actually to be honest there are two CJ’s near my house - One is consistently good, the other is consistently not great. I think when Carl’s Jr is done right they’re really good - unfortunately, from different reports I’ve heard, they don’t always do it right 😔
