Northern Belle's "Royal Yacht Britannia" was due to pass through Carlisle twice today - 10.20 and 19.40 - a long gap in between appearances, so how was I to pass the time? Well - how about some healthy exercise, scenery - and even some rail travel.
It was a long day - but even longer the following day editing the material.
A note about the sound-track. My edited version has a subdued (almost silent in places) music background to the aerial sequences - I have played the original version back on four different video players - all are as I edited it. For some unknown reason RU-vid seem to grossly increase the volume of the music whilst not affecting the rest of the sound track. Am I alone in experiencing this?
