Carlos Zárate - Is a retired Mexican boxer. He has the distinction of being the only one professional boxer in history to put together two streaks of 20 or more knockout wins in a row. Zárate was ranked #21 in The Ring's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time. and voted as the #1 bantamweight (along with Rubén Olivares) of the 20th century by the Associated Press in 1999. He is also the father of undefeated Light Welterweight prospect, Carlos Zárate, Jr.

Not sure is true He peaked between 75 and 79. But the manga had been published between 68 and 73. He is most likely inspired by Olivares (champ since 69), even if the style are different

Believe it or not, most knockouts happen from minimumweight up to bantamweight. Just check which country has the most knockouts per capita. Hint: it is an island that produces Anime.

Very dangerous straight right. Tall boxer. Greatest Boxers of All Time. Left hooking upwards into the body very dangerous. Left hook - straight right. For a tall man, he liked to attack and crowd into his opponent. He charged in with focus then left-hooked into the body. This is set up the straight right. Extremely dangerous, he was a "hunter".

In my opinion. Zarate is the strongest bantamweight of all time. His stature and stuck were welterweight being bantamweight. I think Zarate would have knocked Jofre, Olivares, Harada, Al Brown, Canizales, etc.

He knew exactly what he was doing; there was no maybe-this, maybe-that, what if I did this, how about I try that, should I rest for a few seconds or no, etc. He knew exactly what every punch and movement was for. Look at the KO record.

100% I agree. Inoue would get KO'ed by Carlos Zarate. If Donaire was in his prime, he would've finished Inoue.
