Regarding the pregnant woman, 1: I doubt she was pushed by the soldier, he may have put his hand on her but that’s to be expected. 2: How was anyone to know she was pregnant, especially when under high pressure doing your job and having to think of lots of things within a few minutes before the horse’s come out. 3: Why would a pregnant woman or the man with her, who is supposed to take care of the woman and unborn child, decide it would be perfectly safe to be in such a crowded space, with people shoving each other etc, and wait for a horse to walk towards them when everyone knows how unpredictable horse’s can be, if that horse had got spooked and the crowd surged back or sideways then that is a really dangerous position to have put that unborn child in. 4: If you are the people I’m discussing and you are reading this I have 1 piece of advice, I have bought up 4 of my own so I know somethings, please use your common sense once baby comes along, babies are a blessing and need to be protected, telling a soldier off because you thought he had pushed her is one thing, ok I get it, you were trying to be protective but you really weren’t. But once baby arrives please be careful of situations or trips you may have planned that include baby safety at all times. Even in the home. If you need help on concerns you have there are lots of groups out there willing to help without judgement. 5: I am in o way judging you I am simply trying to give some advice so I’m sorry if it comes across that way. I am just shocked anyone would think that would be a good place to stand whilst ‘with child’. I wish you all the best for the new year and 2024 is going to be an amazing new year for you as a family, if this is your first your loves will change dramatically but it’s all worth it. Once again have a wonderful new year and to all those expecting on the new year I pray for you all. Times are hard but memories can be made without spending money. A baby will appreciate love and cuddles much more than presents and the latest fashions or fads. God bless you all.

He didn't even see the child at first, and the thing is.... with SO many people there, they really HAVE to go "by the book" even if on a quieter day they might have acknowledged the kid.

There was also a Life Guard who wiggled his sword in acknowledgment at a child waving. It was very sweet.

I had a feeling that was the channel. I have watched a few of their videos a long time ago but stopped.

I think they should start charging an entrance fee (even at 1-2 GBP per person) which could go towards the upkeep and the Guards/horses alike, not forgetting the Police who escort them to and fro. Also you should be made the official videographer as not only are you good at the job, but you care and the Guards know that (as do we).

The majority of the time those box gates are closed when the horse and guards are on duty and are re-opened just before shift changes. They now have a cop standing. Next to the box to tell tourist they can not enter the boxes.

I need to know the real channel and their channel so I don’t get mixed up when looking at videos or merchandise. I find the whole thing shocking, it might even be against the law, I want to find their channel so I can report it to you tube and try and get them shut down. They do seem to have scarpered after John tried to ask him some questions. They should be bought before the courts in my mind, and given a stiff penalty to make an example of them. They literally conned people out of money by misinformation, making people think the money is going to a good cause, all their assets should be seized and sold off or given to those veteran in need. I’m absolutely furious right now.

I always thought it was genuinely a channel run by the kings guards. So basically they have been making money under the premise that the money generated is for veterans. Although I don’t like the idea of abusing the Kings Guards I think that as long as this is a public forum there is not much they can do. I think the entire attraction should be closed off from tourists it’s a circus full of rude obnoxious clowns who have no respect for anyone. It’s a ticking time bomb. Unfortunately something will go wrong and it will close forever it’s inevitable.

It’s getting annoying now seeing all the people walking through. Some deterrent should have been put in place for sure.

I think if they were worried about the cobbles setting and drying they wouldn't put a 2,000 pound horse with a rider in there. Especially when the horse at any moment it feels like it can take a 2 liter piss on the cobbles.

But if you're a tourist in London for the first time and you see a wide open space between where you are and where you want to be and you've never seen a horse in there before...I mean C'mon. If you went to the joint security area on the border of South and North Korea, would you know you're not allowed to point your finger? Would that be obvious? Regulars there would think you were an idiot but then they know better.
