Hi doctor Berry I love your content and your passion for your mission!! But I have a question if you don’t mind ! I’m on a carnivore diet for a year and I convince my dad which as a cancer a myeloma multiple to do the same after 8 mouth and he just started a mouth before they change his chemio . The first mouth I managed to take off is insulin injection after the second mouth soon he start the new chemotherapy he start use it only when he took his medication. Now after 3 mouth he is back on insulin every day . There is samething that I can do ?

I had zero clue that my pain and inflammation were caused by eating a veggie heavy diet. I started carnivore back in September. My back pain stopped. EVERY time I eat veggies or anything processed I am in excruciating pain almost immediately. It's so hard to believe -I will try something just to test this out. I went to a birthday celebration and ate some broccoli salad and a bread pudding for desert. The pain started before I left. I hurt for 2 days. This is so hard for me to believe. I am done testing this out. I feel so much better mentally and physically. It would not be worth it to go back to eating my veggie heavy diet. People can not wrap their heads around this way of eating - even meat lovers - and this is all about the brainwashing from big food. We were raised to think eating meat was bad. I was never a meat lover, and that was the most challenging part of starting this way of eating. It didn't take long to adapt. I crave meat now and rarely crave veggies. I have lost 12 pounds and could lose 10 more, but even if I don't lose another pound, I will not go back to the old way of eating. So, it's not worth it. I started with the BBBE challenge. That was a good way to get transitioned. Thankful for Dr. Berry and Neisha. Amanda I have watched your transition, and I am so moved by the changes you have experienced. Keep it up!!!

Before I totally fell off the keto wagon, I lost 60 pounds. My new doctor noticed that I had lost weight but when I told him I was doing keto he was not happy. He wanted me to do the mostly vegetable diet like they always seem to pound in the peoples heads around here. I told him no. I'm doing ketovore. My previous doctor, right before he retired, was very happy with my progress, and he admitted that the medical establishment had been giving out the wrong information about diet for years. I asked him to please tell his coworkers, but I guess he didn't or they didn't pay any attention.

I have a simple solution…. FIRE YOUR IDIOTIC DOCTOR. He is clearly ignorant (as Dr Berry often describes there types of Docs) and misinformed about human health and what is a Proper Human Diet. Our ancestors for literally thousands and millions of years were NOT vegans or vegetarians. They were CARNIVORES and ate a diet consisting almost entirely of fatty (mostly red/ruminant) meat and eggs. Any plants that they may have eaten were very minimal and only eaten in times where meat was not plentiful or scarce. There was a close species to Homo Sapien Sapien (our species) that did eat a plant only diet but that species ceased to exist. This is a scientific FACT that any paleoanthropologist can easily verify. What does this say about eating plants only with no meat???😊

It's true about being up front with your doctor and teaching them. This is what happened to me. After 6 mos on ketovore and losing a lot of weight and moving my lab numbers drastically, my doctor was astounded and asked me what did I do. I told her about the obesity code book and she wrote it down and said she was going to buy it. I felt I got a victory and finally good PCP.

I was bipolar for about 15 years. I’ve been off all meds for nearly 5 years and you’d never know I dealt with that. Diet (and CBD) helped me titrate off my meds and get my life back. I’ve used meat heavy keto primarily. In nursing school we literally laughed at the idea diet could help anyone. 🤦🏼‍♀️. After school I decided I wanted nothing to do with that industry as I didn’t want to be part of the problem.

I was also suffering from bipolar (bipolar depression to be more specific) with anxiety and ADHD and after adopting a meat heavy keto diet (ketovore now… 15-20 total grams of carbs per day), I am also off all meds. I feel great and my energy and mental clarity and focus are off the charts!! I’ve also lost 65 lbs, dropped 5 pants sizes, reversed my Type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease.. And my high blood pressure, IBS, acid reflux, sleep apnea, chronic Arthritis in my knees and chronic fatigue (and so much more to list!!) are all GONE!! Good luck with your health journey and thanks for sharing your story about reversing bipolar. I’m so glad to hear someone else who has done this!!😊😊

I've been carnivore-curious for a few years and have been experimenting with it for about the past year. I've managed to drop 27 lbs since Thanksgiving by sticking to it VERY LOOSELY at times, but strictly when I'm able (holidays and travel for work have been challenging). Not too shabby a loss for 3 months of not sticking with it too seriously. Anyway, the more I eat this way, the better I feel, which in turn changes how I view my eating habits and makes it easier to stick with it. (It also angers me that it's so darned hard to find real food that isn't filled with chemicals, drugs, and garbage, but that's another subject.) My Mom has also embraced it and has seen huge improvements in how she feels and has even eliminated several medications she'd been on for years - and she was a major carboholic - so if she can do it, I know that I can. She introduced me to your channel this past weekend and suggested I watch this Q&A - which I did. I think you're great and look forward to watching more of your stuff and seeing your journey as it continues. Dr. Berry is an absolute HOOT! I love his good ol' boy demeanor and his way of looking at things and explaining things so that they're easy to understand and humorous. I'm lucky enough to have a great doctor who is fully onboard with my ketovore plans. Thanks for your content - looking forward to more! :)

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV Bible [1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV Bible [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 10:9-13 KJV Bible [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 3:16 KJV Bible For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14:6 KJV Bible Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Yes Amanda, on my last visit my Dct took down Dct Berry’s website. She was so amazed that every time she saw me I was healthier than the last visit. I have always appreciated that she has real conversations with me. I think that is key. Now she can better serve her other patients.

I increased my Low T (was at 105 in November 2022) with a combination of carnivore and injections. I had to stop after 3 injections because my Testosterone jumped up way too high between the diet and exogenous, and I was having excessive tenderness and pain. After being off the exogenous for a month it stabilized itself at 611.

What is normal T? I thought it was 550-1000

@@mikao9401 I believe so. Hence me saying that it had been low (105) then skyrocketed too high (about 1450), then settled back down and stabilized at 611. So not sure I follow your question...

Amanda, what a huge win to have Dr. Berry on your channel!!! You're a wonderful interviewer! Your channel is a huge success! BTW, for whoever asked about ganglion cysts, I had one decades ago, had it drained a few times, and then healed it at home. It was on the back of my hand. I taped a coin, specifically a quarter on top of the cyst. It was gone within three days and never returned. I couldn't believe it!!

I have been on this carnivore diet for 2 months now and I can't describe the difference, its amazing. I'm losing weight I no longer have to take prilosec, I don't need it anymore, and I'm waiting patiently for the day when the rest of my prescriptions are no longer needed. 😄
