Some people don’t like boats some do each to their own, one things for sure a few more of the Cromwell residents will be gracing my net cord in the next 12 months first session on there I’ve blanked even if I did loose 2 not bad form to say this was my 4th visit 👌🏻
Looks a nice place mate - definitely one to visit for me in the future. Great vlog - don’t worry about apologising for bivvy shots etc, people will watch them because of you 👍🏼 I feel your pain with the two lost fish. Always a gutter but that’s fishing mate. Tight lines 🎣
Cheers pal. I really do love the place! It has fridges you can put your food in and things like that so makes a 7 day session easy! Wait till you see the next one put some serious effort into getting them fish it was a bit hardcore! Hopfully have that on for next weekend 👌🏻 thank you for watching
Hi mate, how did you drop the lead with using pva bags, paying the place a visit and I am thinking of using the pva method , been using c clips as a method for dropping the lead on a helicopter rig ,do you think it is a safe option instead of korda helisafe for a pop up rig, Many Thanks, John
Hi John i know a lot of people use C clips but i fish a lot at range so prefer the safety of a Helisafe. Do you have facebook or instagram ill send you a voice note on there be easier to explain 👌🏻
Thank you Steve, I use Daiwa Cast’izm 25 QDA. The Whisker 25 are the new versions of these. I’m looking to get some new reels soon as I used to use my old windcast z5000 but I just don’t like the drag on these old reels anymore compared go the modern ones.
@@CaravanCarpers that's going to be my aim this session. The last peg I was on the boundary was 15 wraps while watching people slam baits out at 25+ wraps. Your limited to an extent when it's not happening. I've fished that corner peg in your video where you moved from and you mate had 2. Blanked but there was some chunks under the trees. Keep the videos coming it's quite refreshing watching.
Hi great vlog... How did you stop the pva bag from melting in the bait, as every time I've tried it splashes of water melt it before it gets to the spot?
Hi mate. I use the ridge monkey square cup, put the handle down in the hopper and it keeps the bag off the floor I normally put some hemp oil in the cup to protect for little splashes too. If it dnt make sense drop me a message on insta or Facebook via the @caravancarpers page and I’ll send you a picture
Hiya pal thanks for watching. Depends if you have a boat or not pal. 16 and 11 are great pegs but you need a bait boat. My fav peg is 4. I’m not a venue expert but 4 11 16 and 18 Id have if no fish had been coming out. 4 is deep though to gravel bar
