Wow. This worked great for me! I am a drummer and percussionist and have 53 years of drumming under my belt and have already had carpal tunnel surgery on the left hand, now the right is much worse than the left because it takes the brunt of performing. As soon as I began the first exercise, I could feel the area surrounding my thumb being worked out. I've been reading comments here where people say that it made their CT worse, but it surely does help me, until get the surgery. Thanks for posting this!
Pat! After 8 years of constant shoulder pain, I went to see Pat in person and in just 6 weeks Pat was able to eliminate the pain 100%. I had seen at least 10 other ppl over the previous decade with no improvement so I highly recommend this guy - Thanks again! I can't believe the first video on the carpal tunnel I found just happen to be you :)
I'm having the shoulder problem. Does it have to do with carpal tunnel because I'm getting the run around with a work comp problem. They can't seem to be specific about the problem.

Bună seara! Este interesat cea ce faci în exercițiu de tunel carpal syndrome dacă se poate vedea mai multe exerciții, am acest sindrom. MULȚUMESC FRUMOS!
People need to understand this syndrome can arise because of a nerve pinch in the cervical region. The nerve goes all the way to your hands. So if it gets pinched in your neck, you will feel the pain/burn when you stretch in your hands and shoulders. In neurology, where you feel the pain is not necessarily the origin of the same. Always meet a good chiropractor before jumping on to the surgery bandwagon. Peace
I have been playing strategic games for hours the last week using my laptop and mouse (right hand) and i started to have numbness in my last 2 fingers ... i will try your exercise and give you my feedback ..

Hi there I had a bike accident and now I do not have full movement in my right arm but I am all ways in pain in my hand can you tell me what too do too help the pain
I have not tried thes e moves yet, but I can clearly see how they will benefit. I am a 75 year old PC gamer. (carpal tunnel syndrome) not a stroke. Whew.
only go to the point where you feel the symptoms come on, or intensify. Hold 1-2 seconds then back off. Hopefully with repetition, your symptoms will decrease and then allow you to push a little further. Then repeat the process in the new available range of movement.
Many thanks Pat! My hands feel tingly after these exercises! Like my nerve endings are able to breathe! I suspect myself of having carpal tunnel due to pinky fingers going numb when just on the phone, middle fingers going numb sometimes in spin class, and sometimes even waking up with numb fingers. I am going to do these exercises daily (before yoga might be even better) and look forward to waking up without numbness. Thank you again.
i think you're right. i had cubital tunnel syndrome as well. (my wrists are weak and when i would spin class, i'd put too much weight on my wrists/ hands in death grip.)

Thank you Pat for the video. I can't move my hand and wrist to the 6 o'clock position. I can only move to the 3 o'clock position. I'm doing the exercises until I can fully move to the 6 o'clock position.
on the 3rd progression that involves tilting the head, how many reps for that? also, how many times a day can i do these glides, or is it unlimited? thanks!
@@chriiss6936 , my job depends from daily typing, I have carpal tunnel on my left hand, I do not want to go to a second surgery, I had the first one on my right hand, successful surgery, but any surgery it doesn't matter if it is minor also is risky. I like to exercise my hand, sometimes miraculously I can close my hand without any problems, I decided not to pay attention and pretend nothing happens, I have already dealing with this problem sine 2 years ago, I think with good therapy I can rid off the problem I have. I went to physical therapy for 3 months, the therapist took measurements of my hand and finger, they made something to use while sleeping, very uncomfortable, end in the garbage, what silly way to help me, lol. Thank you for asking.
@@karmitaavila5655 oohok I broke my wrist and carpal bones idk wa the rest of them little bones are called but I broke my wrist of my motorcycle and i couldn't move nor lift my entire left arm up after 4 months i can lift it up with no problem and only now I can close my hand my wrist doesn't move well it's very stiff and painful when trying to work on it I search on the net to see if anyone had this similar accident but I cant find. They used 7 steal rods to stick the peace's back together. Tell me if you think I would b able to bend my wrist again?
These exercises make it worse! This MAY work for very very mild cases but for severe cases these are not the answer! And as a "therapist" you should know this!
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to discover at home remedy for carpal tunnel syndrome try Pyzork Tunnel Syndrome Professor (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
the surgery isn't sure that will help you. my condition after in both hands surgery is the same or even worse, some times in winter i woke up because of the pain
Warsilver do the exercises slowly, be very gentle with it. Have you ever tried massage to help alleviate your wrist/arm pain? surgery is the last resort
I know this is good advice, but it destroys my hands. No matter the pressure, they just get tighter. Easily fatigued too. Maybe my issue is something else ..
