A few of my Christmas goodies are already completed (thanks to quilt retreat), but one brother quilt needs to be bound, and two quilt tops need to get onto that long arm.
I have watched all of the Midnight or Daytime Quilt Shows. I am always amazed how quickly you can piece and quilt your lovely quilts. Keep up the great work! I just finished several grandchildren quilts so now it's Christmas gift time. I will be making "going to Nana's" suitcases for my 7 grandchildren.
My mom just passed away in August, I found some recipes in her handwriting. So I am scanning and printing the recipes onto fabric, the scanned fabric will be the pockets for aprons for all of her granddaughters with a photocopy of the recipe..
Oh, Angela, you always inspire (drinking wine is my new favorite quilting activity!). I'm already queuing up my Christmas projects. My friend was kind enough to tell me about your show and I'm addicted to it now. I've got two quilts waiting to be quilted AND several others completed. Thanks for making it easy!
I love your videos Angela. Your humor and enthusiasm inspire me. You are so much fun to watch. I will definitely be making this quilt....the colors are fabulous!
Christmas Carole, Wonderful Life, Elf, Christmas Story, Home Alone, Christmas Vacation ... I know I missed some of the clues but I was enthralled with the lesson! I've got the cut and piece down... learning a lot from YOU on free motion! Love the show and your wit! LOL!! Making lap quilts for family and friends - maybe a table runner for ME!!
This is one of my most favourite patterns and you did it so bright and fresh it sings. You are fantastic, Angela and I love your show, your attitude and admire your skills and good humour greatly. Thanks for sharing.
I love the Midnight Quilt Show! Angela, you are a natural on camera - genuine, funny, down-to-earth and best of all - an enthusiastic teacher. Your videos are fun, never boring and you are a hoot, gurrl! (You must have a good editor!) I have big plans for holiday quilting projects including table runners, a wall hanging and an MC Escher type of geometric nightmare of a bed quilt that my physics major son is going to love. Keep up the good work!
Angela, You are always so upbeat and happy, makes your show even better. I'm wanting to make the Carpenter Star and other quilts. I especially like the machine quilting part and love your demonstrations and suggestions for that as well. Thank you,
I love the midnight show and Angela's classes on Craftsy. I'm planning on practicing free motion quilting when I get back home to Florida. I have a lot I want to do, but especially to make a quilt for my new great granddaughter.
Just subscribed a few days ago and am bingewatching all the episodes and you know what? I'm not even a quilter! I don't even own a sewing machine!! I just love to see the quilts come together under your hands. But who knows.. one day... (looks dreamily off in the future)
I started out making clothing and horse things (blankets trailer wraps saddle pads) with an old singer machine that only sewed in a straight line forward, not even reverse. I loved that machine and still have it, it sews through anything. All you need is a machine, mat, material and a cutter, o and wine. Just follow along and you'll be hooked. Have fun.
I sew blankets for 15 years for the homeless. And give them for Christmas. Just last year I couldn't because I had back surgery. But I'm back sew again this year. This year I'm going to send them to Houston, Texas for the people that lost everything from the huricain. Thank you for your help. God bless.
Avonnorma Don't you think the people of Puerto Rico could use the quilts more?? My personal opinion is that the people in both Florida and Houston have benefited plenty from Trump's generosity compared to the devastation in P.R. Congratulations on getting back to making blankets for the homeless. Glad to hear you're well enough to do it.
I'm sorry but did you know the hurricane made landfall in Rockport, TX with I45 mph winds. We are just a small town but lots of people lost everything. My best friend Barb a longtime quilter lost her home. A tree went through her home so she had 16 inches of wind driven rain. Her quilting studio was blown away. Check the internet under Rockport, TX. You will see the damage. We could use a few of your blankets too.
I live in Rockport also. Some of my things were damaged, but not my longarm. " Thank God". I am making several wall hangings for survivors with fabric that was damaged and stained by the storm. They will look like the storm with words and saying quilted in. 100 days in and I still don't have a roof and we have families still living in tents. We have Rockport Relief Camp, run by Samantha McCary that is donating directly to the people that need it. I will try to find a link to them. Port Aransas, Rockport, Bayside and Refugio took the brunt of the storm. Houston took the rain and floods.
Why is it anyone's business where she chooses to donate her quilts? She can take them to the local country club and pass them out to the rich folks if she wants to! Instead of criticizing, why not use your hands to quit instead? Then give them to whomever you wish. Shocked at the rudeness.
I'm making Christmas table runners, 1940's aprons and hanging pods....busy, busy, busy. I love your show and usually enjoy a glass of red while watching. Thanks for the entertainment as well as the ideas x
Under the needle right now is a modified Lonestar (it comes out circular), 10 grandkids new stockings are done, 2 great grandkids stockings are done, table runners for each kids household (5) are done. New tote bags for the daughters, daughters in law need to be finished (5). The sons and son in laws got memory quilts last year, so they get nothing this year. Lol. I alternate between the guys and gals each year. Hubby's memory quilt is half pieced. Whew! Just might make the shipping deadlines!
as a beginner sewer, Angela"s videoes has taught me alot of sewing tricks. i really enjoy watching them. i plan a trying to make a few christmas gifts for a few friends. but first i need to get some of the sewing notions to help me along with the projects.
Angela, I'm an "old Missourian" who loves jewel tonesr in all my quilts. I have 4 quilts to make for family, one of which will be the blooming medallion, also I'm toying with the carpenters square. 1 really neat tote will go to my Sister, a quilt to my other Sister and a book parker for my brother (he loves to read and his books deserve a special place.) Love your show don't change a thing!:)
Love the midnight quilt show. I am very appreciative of the humor too. I am gifting fabric ornament balls, a couple of throw size quilts and a mug rug or two. Fa-la-la-la. Everyone..
I have finished two quilts for my sisters for Christmas and 5 bags for people I work with. I love watching this show and have ordered fabric for several of the quilts made here. One is the Fruit Slices. I am just beginning that one. Love this tutorial show!
How pretty are your branches? I love Christmas. I'm working on a rail fence quilt for one of our great grandsons, and its cowboys and more cowboys. lol, the other great grandson wants a ninja turtle quilt and the other wants a mickey mouse quilt, our great grand daughter wants pink roses and lace quilt (wish me luck on that one) lol Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas.

Ughhhh Im an awful Auntie......I started to make a quilt for my niece....before she was born! I have been promising that poor child this quilt for over 16 months now (hangs head in shame). I will get it finished......I promise. And because I confessed it here in the comments section, it means I have to stick to it and get it finished...pronto!!! Your quilt for your Mom is truly a work of art and worth waiting on....for 16 years, heehee. Hopefully my niece wont have to wait quite a long lol. Lee x
I started a quilt 8yrs ago for my dad and still don't have it done. My mom started a hook rug 36 yrs ago and has a 12x24"strip to do and it will be done. So don't feel bad.
I have two quilts started form my nieces for Christmas this year and I am in the process of making scrappy Christmas stockings for the entire family. Thank the lord that I have lots of extra material for the stockings because I just found out that there will be a new grand baby for Christmas next year!!
This is one of my most favorite videos! Once I get my sewing machine back up and running, this will be my first quilting I do. Thank you for being such an inspiration and a kick ass quilter!!!
I have been wanting to do this pattern!!! Thank you for breaking it down into simple steps. And I love that you show quilting what you make also. That helps to encourage actually making this!!!
Working on a snail trail quilt right now for my Grandson, and a hunters one for a nephew for Christmas . & hAve at least 5 UFOS floathing around in various locations in Cubbies and totes🙊. Been making quilts sence I was a teen but never started actually finishing them till 2006 or so after my Accident. Learned from watching George B Steel, Eleanor Burns, Alex Anderson , & Fons & Porter . Love your additude and fun nature you are an inspiration and part of the reason I'm quilting more now than I have in years. Much success to you.
Love the quilt pattern and the colors of the fabric! ANd thank you so much for the pattern in the corner of the video while you are quilting. It really helps to make it more clear. Love your Midnight Quilt show!
Thanks for being such an inspiration - you push me to try new things with each project! Your humor helps me get past my anxieties in trying something new. I love your videos.....keep at it!

I love watching the Midnight Quilt Show with Angela Walters. This pattern will make the perfect gift for some special individuals. Please keep the videos coming Angela!!!!!
Absolutely love the Carpenter's Star quilt. The use of HSTs makes it so much easier than other patterns I've seen. I think I'll make one for my son and my daughter just as soon as I finish the All Roads Layer Cake quilt. Then I have a couple of stockings as well as some place mats. Maybe this year I'll get everything finished before the holidays are over. Thanks for getting me started early this year.
Such fun! I have been using the same Lily & Loom fabric to make quilts for my granddaughters. I am using my leftover pieces to make charity quilts. I really enjoy your show, Angela! Thank you
Angela, you are such a hoot---love watching you sew! I will be making Christmas stocking to be distributed to the kids at the women's shelter--something our guild does every year.
I'm working on my Christmas tree skirt from my Craftsy class "The Quilted Tree Skirt" class. I'm using the beautiful Boundless Ruby Fleur fabric I bought from Craftsy. Then I'm going to start my Scarlet Chain quilt. But now I want to add this beauty to my list as well. Every time Angela does a quilt she makes it look so easy and that makes me want to start another quilt :) Thank you for your awesome videos Angela!
I adore this show...I keep telling more and more people about Angela Walter's Midnight Quilter and the fabrics from Craftsy. Can't wait to see more and I LOVE the fabrics!
Returning to quilting after a 30 year break. LOL. I'm making a modern day quilt in shades of pinks and greens - very subtle colors. Thanks for this opportunity!
I absolutely love these videos. I have watched every episode - some more than once - and I have worked to promote the show others who I know will enjoy Angela as much as I do. Of course some of the quilts appeal to me more than others, but this one is a new favorite. I am working on potholders for Christmas (Honest translation - I purchased my fabrics and batting, I moved my machine to the kitchen table where I have to look at it every single day and I have imagined what they will look like when they are done) I also have a quilt top that I started over 5 years ago but have been hesitant to attempt my own quilting. After watching Angela I am much more confident that I can do it and that it will be great because "done is better than perfect". Angela you have a great sense of humor - thanks for making it all feel so doable.
Angela, I absolutely love all your midnight quilting shows! You are such an inspiration to me and I am a quilter if many yrs but nothing I've done is as great as any of yours! You make me want to learn what you do with your free style quilting. Thank you so very much!!!!
I'm making a tree skirt, table runner, and of course quilts for Christmas gifts! I really enjoy watching the Midnight Quilt Show and have even purchased one of the kits to make as a gift!! It's beautiful! I look forward to the show every week so keep them coming!
What a wonderful episode. I always look forward to your skills and humor!!! Like you I usually have various UFO's in progress for gift giving. It's so great to have PHD's (partially half dones) for family and friends who are quilt worthy. My sister has started quilting with me this year and she definitely deserves something. I think I'll give her a pieced and appliquéd Wall hanging I've been working on. QUILT ON🤗🤗🤗
Everyone in my family is getting a homemade quilt. I have been having fun putting them together. Will also be making Christmas table runners for my dining room table. Love Christmas. My favorite time of the year.
I just love your humor, personality and your show!!! Making lap quilts, have 3 brothers and 5 sisters and when you give to one you have to give one to all! Good thing I love to quilt. Medallion on the list now. Thanks.
I'm looking forward to making and giving quilts to my niece and nephew using the Lily & Loom Modern Hand Drawn Pop Art and Landscape fabrics. I just came across your videos and they are relatable, funny, and full of helpful tips. While I'm still new to quilting, your videos make the fun designs seem less intimidating. Thanks so much!
I love your shows and videos! I'm working on some photo wall hangings with pictures of my children's dogs in them. And a jean quilt for my daughter in law. Keep the shows coming, they're great!
I love these videos. More than just quilting education, it's the quilting humor that we all snort/laugh at. I will be making some jeans pockets oven mitts.
I just discovered your Midnight Quilt show. Love It!! As a retired teacher, I love that you say "finished is better than perfect.". Sooo true! Looking forward to making some of your projects with my granddaughters. This one would be perfect!
I love this channel and Angela. I'm going to make a plus quilt and an arrow quilt for presents. I might even make the feature quilt. Oh some grateful potholders for everyone. Always good to have a couple extra of those red to give as gifts.
I've been watching your show to get ideas for quilts for Christmas for everyone. Never thought of the quilted bag might try that as well. Thanks for all the ideas
I obsessively watch all of your shows. Love the Christmas in August. Getting me inspired to get going on my holiday projects. I have three quilts to finish from last year.....I mean this year. Oh whatever I am going to finish my it is for gifts. Looking forward to the new season. I appreciate all the classes and tutorials that have inspired me to do all my own FAQ. Thanks for the inspiration and my new mantra.....finished is better than perfect
Angela the Carpenter Star is absolutely one of my favorite blocks !! And I have sown of the Daisy fabric to already yay!! So I think I'll use it to make my little granddaughter a !! PS I love this show !! And a Christmas Story !!!
LOVE the videos!! It is a double bonus when there is a quilting diagram! I struggle with quilting design ideas and these patterns really inspire me! I plan to make some quilted throws for family members this year and finishing my own quilt with a stained glass design.
I have recently discovered your channel, Angela. I love the combination of your humor and professional skills. Keep up the good job! I am making a traditional red and greet logcabin quilt for Christmas. You inspire me to try some new free-motion techniques. Thank you for a generous give-away! Your follower from Russia.

I am new to quilting. I am finishing granddaughters quilt for her bed and love Angela's tips for the all over flower design. Thanks for the free diagrams and tutorials. You are an inspiration for a newbie. I hope to make quilts for the whole family this year(or next)
Angela, this is the most fun quilting show I've ever seen! You make quilting fun and easy. Your on-screen presence is so 'real' and I love your senses of humor. Thanks for bringing us this show!
So now I'm making a Carpenter Star for Christmas, as well as some scarves, fingerless gloves and zip bags. Love this pattern and fabric. As always, it's so helpful to watch you machine quilt. Inspired to quilt!
I love giving handmade items for all occasions. I plan to make table toppers, zippered bags and personalized towels for friends and family for Christmas.
This is the first time I watched Midnight Quilt Show and loved it. You keep things moving along and make it fun. Wish I could machine quilt half as good as you. I need to start practicing.
You make quilting look so easy, love it! I'll be finishing my first ever quilt for my grandma. I've gotta wait for the new sewing machine to arrive though. The other busted, oh well. Cutting up new fabrics for pot holder sand table runners for the rest of the family while I wait too! Can't wait to see the new season after I binge watch the rest.
You have a great sense of humor and I enjoy watching your show. This year each of my four girls will receive a quilt. I started them last year and feel super prepared for Christmas this year. The pattern you just demonstrate is for me...I’ll enjoy receiving it next year.
that was fun to watch! my first but not the last episode, can't wait to watch more from Angela. For Christmas I like to make lots of gifts, from small pouches to quilts!
Love the carpenter's star quilt- I already have that fabric, so I might make my own version. For Christmas this year I'd like to make a Christmas quilt for my mom. I made one for my sister last year, so Mom is next on the list. Thanks for the great ideas in each of your shows, I really look forward to new episodes.
