Carplay uConnect issue 

Omg! Thank you! I had taken to dealership for quick look and they were talking about replacing the radio. It’s 430a and I got out of bed to try this. Problem Solved! I’m so happy I want to go take a drive just to enjoy my CarPlay again 😂

You my friend are my new go-to technician, Uconnect/Car Play diagnostics problem solving geek squad, and unofficial Apple Support rep. I spend several hours on the phone with Apple Support and Uconnect AND the dealership. Nobody could figure it out. Like you I posted on Dodge forums begging for help and scrolling through Google searches. I reset, turned off, forgot devices, cars, used different USB cables and outlets, nothing. FINALLY FINALLY found your video and BAM! It worked. Cancelling the appointment to drive 3 hours to the dealership to have them run a diagnostic. Major eye roll. Saving this video. Anything else you got? Thanks!

I had my defective deck replaced in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it reset everything. I had this same problem and your solution corrected it quickly. Thank you sir!

Ahh... Thanks for sharing the video. What an easy fix... I have changed many cables to fix this issue and you know it works when I change to a new cable but buying a new cable every time it stops working is not feasible. Thanks again for making this video.

Thank you! Finally something that worked! I have Android Auto and a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 2019. I pretty much had the same experience as you as far as being frustrated trying to find the answer. There is so much info out there that doesn't work. Might I make a suggestion? Could you change your title for this video to something like "Apple CarPlay or Android Auto not working on UConnect Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram." That will help more people find this video.

It wasn't working for my brand new Jeep 2021. I've searched online on how to soft reset the Uconnect system. Push at the same time the power button of the stereo and the tunes button for 20 seconds. Release both buttons at the same time and Uconnect will reboot.

5 ⭐️ to you for the video . That was a quick fix for me . By the way my carplay disappeared when i had two iphones plugged into the car . Sounds weird , but that is what i could recollect , not sure if there was some software issues within uconnect at the same time .
