Yeah I'm British and I grew up on some great British comedies myself. In a way it sort of defines you.. If you grow up on the sort of comedies that I did then you kinda develop a fast dry wit 😆😆

It's obviously a parody/piss take of the old sitcoms from the 70's but even without the 'tongue in cheek-ness' and just as a comedy sketch it is extremely funny. Unless you take yourself and things way too seriously.

It’s a parody of the Carry On movies. See Carry On At Your Convenience for a really good example of when this humour was accepted and still funny. Carry On Camping is the most famous of these movies.

The difference between banter and sexual harassment is:- how the other person feels about the conversation. Something they may not make known for fear of ridicule by their peers. So avoid it, in general. Take a couple of years or more, to gauge the other persons character.

Lol there was someone I worked with this year and his professional registration online was something I needed to check by chance and his hearing for supposed sexual harassment at a previous role was a bit weird to read cause he maintained it was only sexual banter a flirty woman at work initiated.

I think it depends where you work, if you work on the shop floor in a factory it seems you can get away with this kind of thing, but if you work in an office for example I guess you could get in a lot of trouble

To find this horrific, you must be misunderstanding the target of the joke - unless you grew up with the awful sexism of the Carry On series, you'll never get the Sid James and Barbara Windsor spoofs (very accurate by the way). I'm not saying everyone will find it funny, I'm just saying that to find it horrific you must have no reference point unlike 99% of the UK audience its aimed at.
