DOUG you're killin' me, man! The Mitsubishi Eclipse was absolutely sold in other markets outside of the US. Yes, they were all built in the US, but they were exported to Europe and Japan in every generation. They were all LHD, too.

That’s not true. Only the first two generations were officially sold new in mainland Europe, the third gen was a popular grey import and the fourth gen also. They were offered in the Middle East, Japan and maybe the UK, but that’s it.
12:46 Actually the Eclipse was sold in Japan as a ‘reverse-import’ for the 1st and 2nd gens, and the 3rd Gen as a convertible. The UK also always got Eclipses as well. Also, Canada had every single gen, although the first two were sold as Eagle Talons and Plymouth Lasers.
The “Dodgubishi” era had some really cool cars. I remember 10 years ago Eagle Talons were still somewhat common on the road, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen one
If you want to see some weird cars, go to the parking lot of Las Americas Premium Outlets in San Ysidro on a Sunday afternoon. It’s the closest you can get to Mexico without leaving California (you can even see the border wall), and it’s where middle class families from TJ spend their weekends. MG, Seat, Renault, Suzuki, you name it.
I was in Oceanside/Carlsbad a couple months ago and saw a new Mercedes GLS600 maybach parked in a sketchy alley behind an apartment complex. I’ll never forget seeing that lol
I work in Oceanside and it’s hilarious where my parents live it’s mostly Tesla / Benz, and closer to the beach at my job it’s mostly work trucks and Scion tC’s
1st gen tundra extended cab in one of Toyotas finest colors of all time, imperial jade mica green. Also has the famous 2UZ FE 4.7 V8. The regular cab V8’s are pretty rare.
I've only seen two videos from this series and these are already my favorite Doug videos. They need to be longer. Could travel all around making these videos, interesting and entertaining.
I love how Doug and friends actually get excited over those quirky “regular” cars because I LOVE exotics but I get more excited to see those quirky weird cars

That Oregon plate on the vintage IS looks fantastic! That dude in the back alley who was working on his truck was tempted to reach for his piece when he saw you guys pull up in that girlie ride! B+ overall, very entertaining!
Saab badges do that because the top portion is an inlaid sticker/paint. Awhile back if you owned a Saab (post 2012) and you requested new badges they would send you a free set.

As a fan of crossovers (in original meaning) and batch engineering, I loved to see 9-2X, I saw one once in wild here in Czechia (a true unicorn here) and of course as a proud owner of B9 Tribeca, it was a surprise to saw one in its country of origin :).
The Tundra with tinted headlights and extra off road lights is hilarious. I see alot of Jeeps up here with tinted tail lights, normally if you get rear ended its NOT your fault, but if you ever hit a Jeep with tints just make sure to point it out to insurance and police.

Seeing that NSX was cool, you guys definitely should get one, maybe a fixer upper, but one that can actually become reliable eventually... unlike _some_ other car.
