Archer: *whacks Rin* OOPS MY HAND SLIPPED. Rin: *shoots at Kuzuki* THAT WAS NOT IN THE PLAN Archer: *protects Kuzuki* OOPS MY WHOLE BODY AND SWORD SLIPPED. Rin: Et tu, Archer-tei?
@@opposedscroll7596 not a plot armour. He doesn't want to straight up kill him. He first wanted to make Shirou admit his ideals were wrong before killing him Immediately killing him would mean surrendering as if he couldn't convince Shirou
Rin's very lucky. Not many people would risk their lives to do what Shirou did for her. Especially after abandoning him. Although, she secretly meant well by rescuing Saber to reforge her pact with Shirou which caused Archer to turn his back on her.
Even though I'm not finished with the series, I'll say this. I've always hated that bastard. He explicitly said that he would let a mass murderer like caster murder people to gain power to kill ONE servant. That is what made me hate him, but this betrayal to join a murderer is what made me despise him, at the same level I despise Gilgamesh
Let us hear you after finishing the series . Archer was actually right from his viewpoint about caster too . If they dont find a way to kill berserker , the resulting fights will lead to deaths of far more than a city so sacrificing a city is perhaps a better choice though morally not correct. But actually , he never meant that literally . He was always telling that caster controls her servant but he took into consideration that if that's not the case then her master should be an equally strong opponent . So he betrayed rin to save her or she would have got herself killed and then finished both kuzuki and caster by finding an opening
tbf they aII have a common goaI which is to get their wish granted throught the grain by any means possibIe so servants ussuaIIy wont give a singIe crap bout civiIian popuIation as they wiII just be brought back to the servant reaIm or whatever that PIace is caIIed
