@@cartelstories2098bros legit in sinaloa going places i dont see any other reporters do anything like him. Dude brings to light alot of shit no ones willing to even report on. If he was bullshiting i doubt the cartel would let him operate like he does. You just sound like hater. No one want to interview you bro. Shadow the real deal.
I can really relate to Mr. Puente’s mom: as a single mother there was a point in my life where I was slanging drugs just to make ends meet. I wasn’t getting high or anything, but I ended up getting caught up and went straight. Ended up starting my own company and everything has been great since!
In my younger days I met a first Generation Mexican American kid and started dealing with him. He got busted and received a 30 year sentence at 21 Only after he was busted did it come out that his uncle was the Sinola Federation's representative for the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. The nephew was just like the hillbilly kids I met him through. Just a kid with way too many drugs trying to make a few bucks and chase girls. I don't think people realize we have 3rd generation cartel folks that are born and raised in the US.
Whats messed up is that those young guys get charged and a long sentence while the white dealers who go to Mexico to do the same thing serve 10-15 years and get out way sooner then them. See it all the time in those documentaries
@@terryt2728 yea sure, your not fooling anyone with that bs. Its unfair that mex Americans have to serve longer prison time for the same crime that white dealers serve way shorter sentences
@Timothy He was delivering 2 bricks of ice and a brick of Coke while DUI. When he was pulled over for the DUI, they found the dope and a receipt for a hotel room where he had several bricks of ice and powder. The locals pulled him over on the humbug but the feds were already investigating him and had already got him on two wire buys. They rolled it all into one case. They really wanted him to tell on his uncle, so they hammered him. Plus he had a state felony drug charge on his record.
Grew up in South East San Diego & got to see all the action from the 80s & 90s up close & personal. Lost alot of childhood friends either to prison or casket due to split!
Well spoken??😒 dude hes American born hes not from mexico his parents are, I'm 2nd gen mexican american and suprise I dont have an accen, hell I teach white folks to speak proper engish
2:01:33 I think this idea ties in with the idea he was saying earlier about how these poorest areas are rebel minded and the cultural influence from other areas aren’t as strong as the local
When that show ends its 1997 how much do you remember hearing about El mayo in 1997 and when it ends him and chapo take over as the leaders of the sinaloa cartel so I wouldn't say they make him appear small time just not as powerful as Amado which was probably accurate at that time
I question everything in this now because the lady 30 min. You said clonazapan n klonopin aren’t the same! They are LITERALLY the same thing and just like Xanax… how tf do you not know that if you e done all this
You are right but the is a type of blood pressure pill called clonzodine not sure how you spell it but it the only bp pill I've ever seen that makes you drogging
When he was speaking about childhood friends and one friend had murdered another and the reason for the murder was,” just cartel politics.” Desensitized to the cartel violence and the mentality level is lives are lost and it’s it’s less serious cause it was just business. It’s scary really scary. They’re all over America and the world. Life is not valued the same.
Imagine if the Cartels went about dealing with journalists and mainstream media like the global elite and corporations do… “Today on CBS news at 6, according to recent studies, heroin isn’t that bad for you” 😂
This guy reminds me of the friendsI grew up with. The memories are always better after you’ve gone through it, stay positive, stay free, and six feet above ground hermano.
when you grew up in San Ysidro and Tijuana border, your childhood memories hit different, man back in the 90s i was 13 lol crossing kilos of blanca nieves duck tape to my body with my Middle School uniform from SAN YSIDRO MIDDLE, next thing you knew i had half of the school kids crossing the border every day , while my uncle from LOGAN HEIGTS was making money we thought we was bad ass crossing 3-4 kilos duct tape in our bodys hahaha and he was paying us 120 for every Key.... damn it lol era una mocosa. I was just a little girl that was working for my tio crossing baking soda haha after he got caught and seen his name all over the news is when i got mad at him that he was only paying us 120 dlls while he was making half of million almost every day lmao 🤣😂😂
My family is from Mexico and when I used to get into trouble as a kid my dad hit me with that same paddle but I would always get it 3 times. Could never sit right for about a week. I was around 7 when he started that. If it hurts your eyes to see this happen to a grown man then cover your ears from the screams of when it happens to a kid!
This was a fantastic podcast. Fernando and you have amazing chemistry - similar vibes to Matt Cox tbh idk maybe just me but really enjoyed your convo and hope to see Fernando back on the pod in the future. Luis, be careful, don’t get LA TABLE! 🤣
I used to be into illegal import/export and meth is a hard drug for the reasons he explained and more. but he did a good job articulating why meth sucks.
They’re wildly different dude. Their very purpose is different. Can’t compare the 2 that way. Koncrete doesn’t have his homies on like Joey Diaz. Koncrete doesn’t feel like a “family” of homies that you get to know over time. It’s a totally different vibe. And Rogan is the best of both worlds if you’re into the “regulars” thing (which I am)
It's always the low low people that make up the cartel my friend. Discuss good that this guy is gonna diss this guy doesn't do much of that so it brings less attention to anyone and everything. That's what makes them so powerful
I'm from SD and I can relate to this, and have encountered some spooky grown dudes before late in the alley, I was asking for a cigarette after being faded all day and broke lol, I was like 19 also, and it seemed like I asked the wrong dudes because they didn't even say shit and just turned on they car and started turning around , and I booked it like I was getting chased by dogs, hid down this street by the freeway, the car was coming down the street I ran down, and I hid like craig and smokey hid from that drive by car, it came half way down the street and turned around finally, I never felt the biggest relief of my life ever before that! I'm positive now that I'm older those were cartel dudes, ppl please reconsider walking up to certain ppl late at night, especially in a alley, sober me would never 😂
He’s probably not saying anything that isn’t already known and even if he sort of did it’s not like he’s testifying in court, and even if that was the case most criminal organizations aren’t going to go around killing American citizens if for running their mouths, the heat and negative publicity would just make it even worse. Would be a different story maybe if he wasn’t an American and was saying things they didn’t like south of the border, in the territories of the people he pisses off.
meth is like, if coke did steroids and then did a line of meth, that's meth... 1 line of coke gets u up like 30 min to an hour, a line of good meth can keep u up 24 hours .. i was a meth addict for about 20 years, Jesus Christ saved my soul ...dope interview, I grew up in San Diego, this dude tells stories that reminds me of my youth ..
It’s so good to hear someone who still understands and holds true to their values. Giving the grace that he does to his friends is what is missing in people nowadays. No judgement in how they choose to walk, embracing people for the good exchanges had. ❤ this conversation.
Southern Cali weed, Mexican weed is cute. But the Emerald triangle has and will be the number 1 for black market weed and legalized weed. But he's right about the heroin addict mentality. When I used, a shot wasn't good if I didn't ride the fence between life and death. If my lips weren't blue, I didn't want it. And that is a huge sign of escapism. A slower way of suicide. It's all death. Ends your life of destroys it.
Dudes , I’m at work tripping out on your podcast and I just went to the bathroom to smoke some fentanyl and this one dude kept bugging me for a hit and what do you know he OD’s on me and I’m like oh shit get up dude get the fuck up , man I’m so pissed off right now he ruined my whole high .
Around 2008 me and my homie were in Tijuana crossing the street and la policia stopped us and said we were jAyWaLkiNg and “fined” us fifty bucks, cash right there on the spot, or else we’d have gone to jail in Mexico. The cops jack people like that. I kinda get it though because it has to be annoying how Americans come down there just to party & slide back to San Diego.. crazy times.
Man I love this guy. I could listen to him all day. But honestly as someone who spent time in jail when I was young too. I learned how to tell a mean story too.
This man reminds me of my homie oscar that i met in Chihuahua he lived in Tijuana aswell and had some stories like the one time he beat up a gringo so he could take his passport so he could use it with illegals. As well as being kidnapped by statepolice and wanting a ransom of 20k he didnt have it and never gave them nothing so after he got the bag to the head and couple of punches they left him in the street. GOD TIJUANA IS RUTHLESS
Awesome interview, really can’t get enough of the cartel conversations. Always informative and interesting getting a peek within their world. Well done as always and can’t wait for the next one!
Yet again this channel comes with content that blows my mind. I love this channel. This channel & Soft White Underbelly are the best thing online. When I hear people still talk about Vice I can't help but laugh. This channel shows Life with a capital L at the start.
if youre still wondering about the ramps for cars going over the border wall the homie was talking about, there was an episode in season 4 via Mayans MC, i think one of the last 4 episodes, they were tryna bust a mission with that situation. whatever you pictured in your head is what the club did. regarding the question you asked homie about what if drugs was legalized, my opinion, wil never happen. too much money in it for the bad guys and the "good guys", and all the alphabet boys like the cia, dea, fbi, would exist no more. theyll be all out of a job. anyway, great episode. you bring the guest with the interesting stories. btw, coke gets you amped for a short period of time, and expensive as hell. meth is coke 1000x amd its hella cheap. alot of girls that does it that doies meth through the needle ejaculates just like homeboy was talkin about.
I used to think drugs would never be legalized for the same exact reasons. But now cannabis is legal(med or rec) in over half the United States, ketamine is being used for trauma and depression, psychedelics are becoming more widely studied for a bunch of different reasons. Now with rise in fentanyl, xylazine, and other RC drugs and 100,000+ overdoses a year who knows. I give it 15-20 years before we start to see safe source drugs like Canada, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands is doing. I agree that the powers to be want to keep everything illegal for their own benefits. But the people’s opinions on legalization and regulation is changing just due to all the death and destruction the drug war has caused. That and people are starting to agree that it’s bullish!t the government thinks it’s okay to dictate what grown adults can put in their own bodies.
This guy reminds me of ME lol... I did so much bad stuff I just wanted to get away once those guns were in my face and I accepted death.. its like I died a new life started.
The first time I saw a decapitated man was in Sonora. I thought it was a deer hit on the road but stopped as my brain adjusted to the view of an exposed neck vertebrae, no head, and a man's lifeless body.
El Mayo is a real criminal the one who never gets caught. He has never flaunted his business and has never become a squeaky wheel. With all the people that the police can arrest why would the police arrest him. He does not cause the police problems and does not embarrass them. In court his son admitted that he spent atleast 12 million a year in bribes. A conservative estimate adjusted for inflation was that he was spent 500 million in bribes over the last 50 years. He is not particularly violent. So it is much better to leave him in power and go after the people who are causing problem. It is why the government is always accused of being in bed with Sinoloa Cartel . They probably are because it works out better than the chaos that would come by losing that stability. 50 years of American foreign drug policy in Mexico has got us more and cheaper drugs more violence on both sides of the border. An ounce of meth is 200 dollars in San Diego in 1989 is was 800 to 1200. Can really say that all that money we have wasted on this war has gotten us anything but more addiction.
I love how this guy is so hard, yet he corrects his grammar the entire podcast as if he wants to have college level English. When you notice it, you can’t not notice it. Better than 99% of US Americans.
Longtime sub here Danny. I've got to say, this interview was particularly interesting brother. Bravo, and full salute. Your skills are constantly improving, as is your resume of guests. Fernando is great. Just a shout out bro, hope u and urs are well. Keep doing what u do, and keep getting it 🤘👊🇺🇲🇲🇽
TUNED IN TO ANOTHER INTERESTING & INFORMATIVE PODCAST WITH DANNY & AUSTIN! THIS IS A WELL UNDERRATED PODCAST CHANNEL, YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST A COUPLE MILLION SUBS BY NOW! 💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥💥
1:50:39 this is a big thing I hear thats soo true. People in Mexico love to say that it only happens to the people involved or doing bad things. Or maybe the person just wasn’t paying attention enough, thing is you shouldn’t have to worry about those things if you’re innocent but that’s not the case. Lots of innocent people in Mexico are killed, robbed, kidnapped the whole deal stop with the myths that only criminals get wrapped up
You should sell some merch, I'm great with marketing, sell something like coffee and mugs, with your own touch, call it Konkrete Koffee Kups, short KK...... oh shit holup.
@@dannyjones yes but not hard to find out, well not general public but yeah i doubt anyone would truly care because he wasnt super personal on the matters he mentioned
Very interesting. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It is like Valium. Vicodin is like Oxy. They are synthetic opioids. Meth causes ppl to itch and pick at their skin too.
If they want you they'll get you, maybe it's good P.R. y'know, offer a little understanding which can even bring empathy to individuals caught up in it.
Cartels are really that secretive, they pretty much act as governments in their respective territories, more so than the actual government. If someone went around killing people for talking about them the cartel would probably kill the killer themselves. Most have learned it’s a bad idea to kill unless you have a damn good reason because if you get too violent the locals in their territories won’t be as receptive, if they don’t go as far as taking up arms. Doing a hit on a U.S. citizen, in the US, for talking a little bit on a podcast would probably cause more problems than it would solve.
The way pharmacies work is the owners pay protection to the police or to the owner of the plaza, then they but a lot of the dfrugs from people from the united states like valium, xanax, vicodin etc and they sell it for a profit to people who go party mostly in revolution and cahuila. The counterfit medications is a different issue that’s more related to the medicine labs. Some have suppliers in the side who send them the counterfeit medications and they just mix the packages with regular meds. The problems here is the pharmacies most of the time don’t know they’re selling counterfeits. Not all pharmacies sell the ilegal drugs. There is another way also, some of the pharmacies have dealings with corrupt doctors so when they sell controlled medications to people who want to party the pharmacy worker calls one of the doctors and buys a prescription in paper so it looks like it was a legal purchase. i know this because i worked for a pharmacy in downtown Tijuana and even though it was a legit business, workers made mine like that. 2:32:21
