Almost a year ago I used Carworx Refinish Restorer on some used pocket flares for my Jeep Wrangler. This video shows how well it held up!

Heack yea bud! That is awesome that id held up. If I get the big issues fixed on the Avy I will likely use this on my very faded cladding

Heck yea! Check out cerakote too. I’ve been interested in trying that. Apparently it’s a permanent solution

I’ve seen people use a heat gun on them to change them back. Worth a shot. Jeeps lookin good.

I have been thinking about trying some of the ceramic coating. Check out sweet project cars he swears by it

I’ll have to check him out. I’ve noticed that cerakote stuff out recently. I was interested in trying that out. I’ll prob give that a shot after I see how carworx does on my avalanche

they held up pretty good. it looks like you might have to treat the plastic twice a year.

Just curious. Since you mentioned Carworx doesn't work as well as other products you know of, what are the other products that work better?

I want to know if it can be applied again over what is left on there? Did not hold up well ! I will say it lasted longer than anything else I tried.

I normally try to get all the rust off, clean the surface and use some sort of self etching or rust converter primer then I’ve been top coating lately with rust oleum high performance enamel. Still haven’t found a solid solution. I’m always battling rust

Used it on my Avalanche , 1 year later or a little less ! Most has come off & not happy with it at all. It looks very bad.
