That's a big mower for that tractor and engine I just bought a bush-whacker hd-72 6ft for my 5055 jd have fun watch out for rocks not fun hitting them with ur brand new cutter
It is huge. Was told it would handle it but I would not go any smaller of a tractor that's for sure. I hope it works out long term. Yep, I have found the rocks already. LOL. not fun at all.

You have to get an adapter to connect the two wing hydraulic hoses together . The hydraulic lines to raise and lower will go in the bottom two fittings. The wings don’t have down pressure they go down by gravity, so if your up hill on one side the wing won’t go down until you are on level ground oor down hill on that side. Put the wing hydraulic in top fitting and when you are in tractor you can move lever all the way forward and it will lock lever in place and the wings will float with ground terrain. I have the same mower and it works great. Same tractor too but mine is blue.
Nice cutter I have a landpride 15ft they are a pain on first setup, dealer I bought mine everyone was clueless almost on it. So I took it home and did it all myself the leveling took longer to find a level spot, then I discovered I can just count the treads on wing levelers each thread was an inch.
LOL I sure hope so cause I am what you call committed now. I was told it required a 50 hp minimum but I would not go below what I have here which is a 68 hp at the PTO, 74 hp engine.
Whatch it on hills that thing could push you that's a heavy cutter for the weight of the tractor if ur ever on any hills it will suck ur power down and could start pushing u becarefull have fun
You don’t have to cut the tractor off to work the hydraulic lines to make sure the hydraulic fluid has been dumped. You can do that with the tractor running.

@@chrisfinney1905 I think someone told him, hey drive this truck and deliver this equipment. I feel this man really tried his best for sure. It came down to the business not providing the properly trained employee to do what should have been done. It would have been nice if they had delivered on their promise. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. A dealer issue. Luckily I deal with a different dealer now that is closer to me.
