My father owned the 1594. He borrowed the 990 to begin farming.

I have a Case 1294 from 85 it's not been treated so we'll after sitting in a barn for 10-20 years the previous owners then got it out and fixed up but it is missing a few parts and components mainly the electrics i am missing the windwash system as of right now, the gas struts for the roofhatch are missing, the hood has a dent on front from something falling on it, it also damaged the pipe on the air filter box so they put a plastic 75mm pipe on and glued it on with silicone i am working on fixing the tractor to it's glory it will be a slow process but i will get there one day i'm an 18 year old college student and i have loved tractors since i was 5 years old a friend of mine has the same tractor as me all in original it is in better shape than mine mostly but the mudguards are more beaten up than on mine i also need a det of door mirrors and arms for it then it should be completed 😁

How many hours you got in it? We just bought 1694 with 2900hrs. It needs a bit new liners in the cabin and paintjob done, for being left outside for last 10years. We haven't yet decided if it's a keeper.

David Brown were very good tractors. My uncle (Hesse, Germany) had two of them, when I was a child in the sixties... To give up the plant of DB is the same tragedy as the closing of IH in Neuss, Germany or Banner Line in Coventry... But it's history...

@@andrenoomen9371 28000 runs like new my case tractor has a return home button I just push it at the end of the field and it folds up and carries me back to the farm it's real handy when your an hour away hahahaha

Have you managed to find a workshop book for the tractor ? There should be both the workshop and operator's manual available on the internet, i got the operator's manual for my 1294, i got the workshop manual too but i need to print it too, made good use of it when i got the injectors reconditioned and needed to find the torque spec for them 😄
