Another good simple recipe for folks w/not a big pantry and not a lot of kitchen equipment or time. Good for the growing modern person w/limited time and resources, thanks for sharing
Thank you Miss Ling, for another beautiful meal . My number one favorite part of your video is of course is watching you prepare the meal , number two is watching you taste the meal and saying , MMMMMMM . So cute !
Thank you Ling for sharing your delicious recipes. Please know that there are people out there who are negative and hateful but more of us who appreciate the love and knowledge you are sharing through food. I would love to hear stories about you cooking with your mother and grandmother. Stay safe and again THANK YOU.
China's siblings in Thailand also makes a very good version with something called nam prik pao, which is also called chili jam. It's really nice to fry in some oil after adding the aromatics, and before adding in the vegetables. Btw! It's not the chili jam Uncle Roger is always roasting Jamie Oliver for.
A Thai takeaway has opened near my home and I am getting this Dish tonight, never had a Thai meal before so looking forward to it,another great video as always,Ally
one of the dishes i usually order in Chinese restaurant! hope you can make a cooking video of garlic scape ground beef... i really like to learn that.. thanks
Hello Ling, I love your channel! Thank you for sharing these recipes and techniques. Our family has made a few of your dishes and they are delicious and healthy.
Hay Ling like allways your recipes are fabulous I love them and I tried a couple already super delicious this one will be one of my next ones thank you thank you😍😍🙏🙏
I'll probably make this tonight for my sweethearts dinner, one of his favorite Chinese meals to order is Cashew Chicken. For my dinner I'll make your awesome Chicken and Broccoli with garlic sauce. 😋 I love exploring your videos and trying your recipes. Thank you for sharing simple and delicious recipes.
你好吗 Nǐ hǎo ma 😊 I am going to make this tomorrow. Yao goah I might make it little spicey & put 2 dried peppers.😊 I think restaurants I have been to put celery in it or I might have it confused with almond chicken ...😂 I like what you did. Reminded me of princess chicken or Kung Pau chicken but without peanuts but cashews. You seem to have the sweetest disposition and soo pretty. Thank you for showing us. ❤
I’ve done this recipe over an over. But just now realizing the whole process. One series of ingredient stuff at a time, the outcome is much different. And better.
I has found your channel about a month ago because I love the culture, love the food but I wanted to eat healthier especially for my family. You are AMAZING I made this dish twice and a separate one for my mom who is vegetarian so I altered hers using tofu. But u are an amazing cook. I was wondering is there a way to make healthy crab ragoon I think they are called or crab wonton I think
Hi Miss Ling, tonight I cooked this cashew chicken and it is so nice. Before this I also tried your brocoli with prawn and delicious too. Tks for sharing.
Hey Ling, I'm german, so I always love sauce. Sure gonna try this! (As I've mentioned before: all these recipes with sooo few ingredients are the most fascinating to me.) I still remember you saying, that during the first years in the US, you shyed away from US or european cuisine. In fact, I just wrote my take on seafood pizza to another channel and my fiancé down under. Maybe you wanna give it a try. Or even, later on, come up with your very own version. This is my way to thank you for this recipe: a recipe, that I've been making for ages. Nothing anywhat traditional. Just my take on it. I love to make seafood pizza: the dough, that you only need to roll out. Tomato puree with salt, pepper and some herbs (tarragon, oregano and maybe others). Onto the dough. Finely sliced garlic on top (rule of thumb: too few garlic is possible. Too much is not ;-) Defrost seafood mixture (maybe even a fish fillet) and pad dry. (Pls: no surimi in that mixture! I love surimi ! But in seafood mixture it's only there to cut costs. Plus: watch the kinda shrimps in it. Maybe rather create your own mixture from just octopus, squid, shrimp and mussels.) On top of your pizza. Then add a thin layer of finely sliced onions. Crumble 'em apart to rings. Top that with your mozzarella slices. This way the cheese will melt on top of the onions and kinda coat them while browning. Kalamata olives can be added into that layer of seafood. Or those sardine-filled green olives. Or both. Fresh cubes of artishoke can be a highlight. But forget the canned stuff. Bon appetit! Tuna pizza needs this thin layer of onion rings, too. For that, the canned tuna (in water, not oil) is absolutely fine. Kapers are another nice addition to both versions. Greetings from the far north of Germany!
Looks great. Can't wait to try it. I would suggest using chicken broth instead of water though. I do cause if I have to add a liquid I'd rather add some flavor too.
@@ChineseHealthyCook Me too! N. Carolina....I made this recipe last night! OMG my husband ate till he couldn't eat any more. Guess what we are having for a late lunch today? Yep Cashew Chicken
Beautiful dish Ling but I'm not much into adding cashews, peanuts etc. I'd simply call this chicken colored peppers. I'd likely add hoisin. I'll be making this dish tomorrow but it's with shrimp instead of chicken. Likely add oyster sauce for the shrimp. Early next week, I'm going to an Asian grocery store north of Toronto. Looking forward to it.
That looks beautiful. Can your ceramic wok cook at the same high temperature as your carbon steel? I have always used carbon steel because I can cook at high temperatures but I love the shape of the ceramic. It looks like it has a larger bottom and steeper sides than our carbon steel woks. Very pretty on the stove. Thank you for such nice videos! I made your twice cooked pork today and it was great!
