I bought the white dial with black hands variant a couple months ago. Love the fact when you put the hands at 10 and 10 it looks like an angry mustache face.
Looks dope. I had an Apple watch for a few years, just sold it because I'm slowly getting more and more sick of "smart" devices. I don't need more screens to look at or things notifying me to look at other screens. Might have to pick this guy up.
Ordered the same white dial with blue hands and markers yesterday, cant wait to see this gorgeous timepiece in person 😍. As you mentioned, it has been a really difficult watch to get hold of for a lot of people, luckily they have it in abundance in my country, at least for the time being.
Really enjoy your work - this is probably the classiest, most intelligent, and most insightful watch channel. At least that I'm aware of. And thankfully it's free of the hype and shocked-monkey-faced idiocy so common on YT these days.
You know Casio is god tier. I would love to have it in my collection and put it on a mesh bracelet but i have a mechanical moonphase. 🤷♂️ You know i have an edifice with a carbon case and folded links. It does not pull hairs! And it looks very good! I think a solid link bracelet would have damaged the watches balance so im very happy with it.. Casio is god tier and the hell with the haters and snobs.
I love Casio and I like this design. However, this watch cost RM480 (~105 USD) in my area, which is more than I'm willing to pay for. Will still keep an eye on it tho

Apple Watch can be not just a watch, but Casio ones are legendary hyper classic wristwatches. I hope people can get their ambition in the way they make watches, not bias anymore. In Chinese, people say: "duì zhèng xiàyào", what means you can't apply two things that are completely different into one frame.
I bought the blue face one, they are quite difficult to buy but managed to get it at a decent price. When I saw this one I instantly thought of it as a fun, stick to Apple type of watch which I had to have lol.
I have an Apple watch 3. I don’t care for the health or fitness functions. But if Casio can make a similar watch that keeps perfect time and allow me to make card payments like apple pay… I’ll buy one in a heartbeat if it costs half the price of the latest Watch 9.
Great review & nice throwback! Talking about casio watches and having mixed tapes in the probs. The only thing that would stop me from buying the watch is that weird face pareidolia feeling. I would think the watch is looking right back at me! Haha!
Took a while to find it, this looks awesome! Casio standard MTP-E715L-5AV has brown band and black bezel with brown time markers and band is genuine leather band.
I didn't even know that this is a homage to an Apple watch. I was just looking for a square watch or a moon phase watch that is affordable. Et voila! And you are right about the model's scarcity and flated price. Luckily, I found one in Dubai for AED350. Still a bit expensive than your USD80 though in Amazon US where I first saw the watch, it was priced at USD145.
Nice watch, for 80-100 USD. Sadly, I couldn't find it in Europe, for a reasonable price (or at any official sites). So as long as they dont ramp up the production, I will sit on this one.
Will be adding this one to my Casio collection, it looks classy, having clean lines, which is essential for the dress look with a good shirt/suit. I've been wearing Casio watches for over 30 years. Mainly their classic digital watches, Edifice etc. Recently got another 'Royale' digital, which always brings great comments. Will be Modding the case on my Royale to a stainless /sapphire glass to give it that extra classy look. Great video, many thanks.
For $80, I'd like to see two more features added to this watch: tough solar (so I never have to open that darn case back anymore, especially when it's a snap back); and some lume, please (better yet, a back light). I've been wanting to get an Apple watch since it came out, but these days out of ten people I see on the road who's wearing watches, seven or eight of them wear an Apple watch, compared to maybe one wearing a G-Shock. So this year I got myself another G-Shock :)
@@chrispenn715 I called up Casio Germany last week. The employee said, that this model is not released yet in Europe. He even hadn't had a date, when it could be announced here.
Nice watch. I wished they did these with an automatic movement. Even from Seiko borrowing an cheap movement. Very nice looking. Mineral glas is good enough and that is very hard to scratch. I would get this if it was with an automatic movement and week lettering in german.
Had no idea they released this. So I go look up the price and find out they are 3 to 4 times 80.00 at this point..No reason to buy one at that price, I can just get another real Apple Watch.
