Cassidy Freeman (The Righteous Gemstones, Smallville) joins us this week and talks about the lonely and uncomfortable experience of joining Smallville in its eight season along with the bonds and connections she eventually created with castmates Tom Welling, Erica Durance, and Alison Mack. Cassidy shares her thoughts on the false idea of perfection during comparison and how she has started to let go of the idea of perfectionism. We also talk about the joy of working on the set of The Righteous Gemstones with Danny McBride and John Goodman, her love for Longmire, and leaving a legacy through journaling.

**I have really enjoyed Longmire. All the characters are very authentic. Ever since Longmire finished the last season I haven't stopped watching them. I'm already going for the fifth time watching the whole entire serie. I do not get tired of seeing the whole serie. I just hope that one day they will return with a new season. PLEASE do another season, I'm not the only person who wants to see Longmire and all of you. I love Longmire and the whole cast and I will never get tired of watching it** **I MISS ALL OF YOU!**

I'll always be up for more Longmire! However, I liked the way they ended the show. To do a movie or short series, Vic would still need to be with Walt for me. And, as we know, Katee Sackhoff has gotten into the Star Wars franchise...would she have the time? Unless the new movie/short series was all about Cady being the Sheriff and she has the rest of the cast supporting her with new faces and Walt and Vic are just mentioned? 🤔 But I'm not sure how I feel about a Longmire without Walt and Vic. lol! It's a thinker.

Longmire was one of the last good shows to be on TV that didn’t pander to any specific group and just focused on making a good TV show I hope someday it does come back

Personally, I would love to see Longmire return to television. In reality however it has been seven years since the series went off the air and by now most of the original actors on the show have moved on to other projects.

On Yellowstone, when Kevin Costner quit, instead of the show ending, Robert Taylor should have been immediately recast as John Dutton. There's potentially a lot more candy in the Yellowstone pinata, and Robert Taylor portraying John Dutton could have delivered the goods.
