My beloved son passed away on Nov 11,202 after 10 years 4 months paralyzed from his head down and he never lost his faith in Christ. I looking forward to meet again to praise His holy name together.

I love this song. It fills me with the Holy Spirit every time I listen to it. People won't remember me or even care about my existence in 50 years. But that's fine, right? Because Jesus is the only name to remember. Not my name. Not your name. Just Jesus' name.
I think having people to remember can glorify the lord. The dedication and love of our lives can be a witness to his grace and love for us. Having examples of others is always helpful as long as we don’t follow them blindly and without question. As far as someone else’s life helps us in our walk with Jesus and appreciate him more I think it’s okay. When I have looked to others for the way to live I have usually ended up being disappointed and somewhat empty inside, but when I’ve followed their example (as Paul says, follow me as I follow Christ) with the Spirit to be the energy and inner peace and guide, then I feel good. It’s always hard to put into words isn’t it. Seeing the wind blowing something this morning, reminded me that the one who walks by the spirit/Spirit is as one who is blown by the wind.

This song came at the right time,right after my life insurance got cancelled for a bogus reason and then I knew God was telling me it was ok, and to continue teaching and preaching what is really important the truth that Jesus gave to us , THE WORD is more important than any inheritance planned for my family. I was listening to some other "christian" artists and bands just now, great songs and all and the lyrics sounded good, you knew who they were singing about, but then they never actually mention His name? Which then got me thinking, they COULD be singing about someone else that they see as their God, why not name who you're singing in glory to so we all know? Kinda troubled me a bit, but then I find this song and this is exactly what I was looking for. Strange coincidence too because only earlier I was speaking to God, saying I don't care for fame, money, social status etc I genuinely want none of those things, and that I only care about God the father, and my Lord Jesus Christ God's Son and my saviour. In fact, I don't think it was coincidence at all. God bless x
Stephen Macleod Amen to that I’ve heard songs before like from Skillet for example that played on regular stations and I always thought of it as You know it sounds like they are singing about my savior but they never mentioned him almost like they worry mentioning the Lord could cause it be less popular or won’t make mainstream that may not be it at all but then when I realized skillet was a Christian band and the song I had been thinking sounded a lot like it could be Jesus they are singing about that’s how I always looked at the song before I even knew it was I always thought of Jesus when I heard the lyrics but I had no idea it was actually a Christian song and band so when I found out it was I thought that’s really cool almost like the we all bleed the same song by Mandisa made mainstream but most don’t realize who that song is about what it’s about they think it’s just a song about racial divide but it’s way more but since she doesn’t mention the savior in they don’t realize it
@@scottbunning6737I love a lot of the modern Christian songs, but if they aren't clear that they're Glorifying our Savior or minister to anyone, I don't care for them. Those old time hymns we have from the 1700 to 1800's are so awesome because they knew what the cross at Calvary was about. They were made free from sin! They received that Promise. Jesus laid, His life down so we can all be made free from sin, and preach it to all the nations! Casting Crowns have been one of my favorites for a long time. Most of their songs minister to us.
They worship the god of this world that is why. God has removed so much “Christian music” From my life but casting crowns remains. They are truly in love with Yah and Yeshua there is no doubt. Many have sold out but they are the real deal. Good discernment brother.

Rather a child in need of food or a backpack or school supplies or a family struggling with medical bills or a older person finding a hard time lacking enough food or paying for medicines or even a A/C unit during the hot summers or even find themselves on hard times with rent. Or a person homeless who has a need and a desire for change going to a shelter to seek help. Or even a single mother who struggles to find enough money to pay for there child's daycare or any number of things. I have stated many times that philanthropist is being the hands and feet of Jesus. That when Jesus said What u do for the least amoung u u do for me. It's a way of life. Serving to meet the needs of a world that has its struggles like we all do but serving to help provide a future and a hope found only in Jesus! Only Jesus!
I witnessed a tragic accident and ran to help. I was not ready for what I saw. I called on the name of Jesus and all the saints and angels to be with this very young man in his hour of need. I learned the next day that he passed away later in the hospital. I am forever changed by this experience and I hope that all who come across tragedies will immediately call on the name of "Jesus" for those who cannot. Thank you for this awesome song at a very pivotal moment in my life.
@@JesusisKing222 over the last 3 weeks since, I'm able to stop dwelling on it. I was able to reach the young man's mother through FB and she was happy to learn what I'd done for her son. She said it gave her great comfort ar a horrific moment in her life, knowing that I was there with him and praying for him. God gave me the strength to do His will.

My son went thought this like a tragedy in a auto accident. Witness call me feom the accident and told me they were there praying with him. Then when i got to the hospital i got a call from the same person. My son had just passed away. I am glad he was not alone. My friend nurse who attended him at the hospital recognized him and was praying for him on his last moments. I am forever grateful to them for being there in my place. It's been a year but my wounds are still very fresh.
Every wealth, success, fame, education we acquire in this evil world is ONLY for a short time. ONLY JESUS will outlive everything, when you leave this world you are forgotten. Only what is done for Christ will last all through eternity. Friends our only Hope and Joy is Jesus. His Crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection is all for our SALVATION from deadly sin that brought curse and sorrow into the world. If you have not repented from all your sins and evil, do it now by repenting from sin and inviting Jesus Christ into your heart, ask him for Grace to live for him for the rest of your life. Also, don't forget to read your bible daily and pray always for his guidance. JESUS LOVES YOU and He is Coming Soon.

Lost My father a year ago, he lived the most selfless life the last years of his life I have ever seen a man live..as if he knew he was supposed to meet Jesus. It’s the only thing that matters in life, not the fame, not your money, not your business, not your glory...does Jesus know you ??? Many people know about Jesus; the question is does he know you ?? My friends allow God to reveal Himself to you, all of history before and after Jesus’s life here on earth was surrounded around that name... all other kings of the past were just preparing the way for Him. Today nothing has changed, everything is preparing the way for King Jesus to return. Not as a savior by as a judge 👨⚖️ he will have the final word.. does he know you ?
I remember in 2004 I still wasn't finished with military and I was struggling extremely hard with so many issues and problems in my life! I remember begging and praying to God saying you gave me this life take it away I don't want it anymore! The first song that really struck home that I heard and remembered, Casting Crowns Who Am I. And just like the songs suggests, and just like the book of Job, who am I that I should question anything from The Father, but to at least know who I am, means more than anything else in this world! Also after reading Victory Over The Darkness by Neil T Anderson and listening to the song again I knew who I was and I am so grateful for all of the music that you have put together, and performed for these past 14 years! We Are All God's Children, we are all following a greater purpose, all for the same desired result, to be the Living Stones, in God's Kingdom!

Thanks Mark, for the inspiring music that Crowns continues to put out! Ive seen Casting Crowns 10 times since 2006. God was beginning to perform a work in me during August 06, when i went to see Crowns live for the first time-I was in tears that night, & knew that night that I’d be playing worship music one day. In late 2007 our secular band broke up- and in 2008 i was asked to join a worship team, and i was saved! I had forsaken the decadent, rock & roll lifestyle, to devote my musical abilities to serving the Lord on a church worship team, where I continue to this day, Crowns will always be special to me, for planting that seed of inspiration in my heart!

My daughter introduced me to this song. I have all their music, and I love Casting Crowns. This song is for sure super special and powerful and the words just speaks volumes to my soul.
