The action from what was a fairly destructive race day at Castle Combe for their penultimate (excluding the Autumn Classic) championship race day of the year. Nearly went to a different meeting but was pleasantly surprised to see some rather healthy entry lists all round that persuaded me to do this race day instead. Most grids were approaching a sum of 30, but the CSCC Swinging Sixties had to go one better and bring along an entry of 48 cars, just a shame 42 is the maximum!
Going back to my previous point about this meeting being 'destructive', we unfortunately saw our fair share of incidents at Quarry with a lot of broken cars, but most spectacular accident goes to Tony Dolley who sadly rolled his Seat Leon twice after the most unfortunate contact with a rather broken Clio! Thankfully Tony and everyone else was okay after their respective incidents.
