Castleton YHA, run by the Youth Hostel Association, is one of the larger hostels but it’s charm and character is typical of a quality re-purposed old manor house converted for the purpose.
Located right in the heart of the Peak District, it is ideally sited to give access to the surrounding countryside for walks and treks as well as the numerous attractions in the area. I have stayed at Castleton YHA several times, usually in one of the smaller private rooms with mates.
