This is a video summary of everything you need to know related to Dead By Daylight in Year 9, and not any of the other games or the new chapter. Stay tuned because I am currently working on the PTB review video focused on the new killer and survivors!

Just to engage in some way i'm gonna say that the solo survivor is Minecraft Steve and you can change to Alex in the same way you do with the D&D survivor

According to the tip about the survivor, it's either someone who "came back from the dead", I mean, survived some extreme event, or it's a character like Sarah Connor.

The new survivor is Ash from Pokémon. He left home at 10 in a world with monsters and never looked back.

Cross-Progression is the thing I'm most excited for. I have close to 2000 hours on my PS4, but eventually gave up waiting for CP and just started grinding out PC instead. I cannot wait for CP to go into effect, and finally get all my cosmetics, and character levels back. It's not exactly new content per say, and it won't benefit everyone, but it's MASSIVE for those, like me, who will benefit from it.

i saw a comment somewhere and its been stuck in my head since: i really want juliet starling from lollipop chainsaw as the new licensed survivor coming soon! she's very similiar to ash williams (if you made him a pink loving cheerleader) and the remaster of the game is set to come out summer 2024, so it would line up!

I'm excited for cross progression, I played a lot of ps4 and now that I have a pc I haven't really wanted to play dbd since I would have to grind all the way up again and buy characters

This is an absolute dream scenario guess, but for the solo licensed survivor, I’d love for it to be the Commando from Risk of Rain. They fit the dev’s teaser in two ways, as they both survived through hell on Petrichor V, but also each character in the game is classified as a survivor just like in DBD.

I think the licensed survivor will be Rick Grimes, likely to be a Walking Dead chapter.

you could do sally from tcsm, shes basically the embodiment of survivor, since it was one of the first horror movies. it makes sense to me since the leathewrface update left much to be desired.

The fact they chose Bill cuz they HAD to give a free cosmétic, and bill licence agree is everything for him has to be free...

The changes and roadmap and game modes as well as the other games they announced are great the stream was great. I can’t wait for the dnd chapter and the castlevania chapter. The only thing I’m not thrilled about is the change to the mori system I like the blood points being added to it but I don’t like that the moris are being made base kit and can only be used on the last survivor because I like the ability to be able to mori all survivors if I feel like I want to slap a mori into the offering slot. I also am wondering how the changes to the mori system will affect perks that allow you to mori such as devour hope and rancore. But overall really good stream and I can’t wait to see what the road map has in store I can’t wait fire the anniversary event and I can’t wait for the dnd and castlevania chapters.

For the liscenced solo survivor I have heard some theories of it being Rick grimes since his new show is called “the ones who live”. Other theories I have heard is the possibility of Sidney Prescott being the solo survivor since she has survived so many ghostface killers

seeing someone get tunneled or facecamped by 2 killers or helping with doing it myself is going to be so fun when it releases

My guess would be the licensed survivor will be from some Zombie franchise. Ellie, Rick Grimes, someone like that. Their teasers are usually pretty straight forward, and someone who Survived a zombie apocalypse seems like the surest thing

Don't forget the new solo survivor and killer could be from a liscenes already in DBD - Sally Hardesty, Nancy Thompson, Peter Strahm, Sydney Prescott, Robin Buckley, Harry Mason (please please please) Ethan Winters, Kristy Cotton, Reiko Asakawa, Andy Barclay or Jake Wheeler, The Tank, The Jigsaw, The Kandarian Demon, The Conjurer (Walter Sullivan), The Mistress (Lady Dimitrescu), The Doppelgänger (Mr Scratch) Sorry I got carried away

As a Castlevania fan, I am so happy that the chapter is coming. That was the one licence I wanted after RE had been added. As for the Survivor, it has to be Trevor Belmont. If not, Richter or Simon could be good choices too

Another reason why a limited time mode is a good idea is that it keeps the experience fresh for it's duration. People can often get bored of a new game mode, especially since this one has a limited pool of characters to play as. I wouldn't mind seeing a rotation of game modes, similar to what league of legends does with their LMT game modes. This also gives the developers data and time to improve on their game mode without pressure. The next time they release it to the public, in theory, it'll be much more polished.

Imagine the solo licenced survivor is Sydney prescot

Bear Grylls, he is a true SURVIVOR, and that'll be a horror for everyone.

I honestly hope the licensed survivor is Sydney from Scream. The 'survivor' line could work for her, and it would be cool

Also, will the previous masquerade masks release during previous anniversaries be available for purchase?

I do have a worry, or more so, a question, I have DBD on PC and xbox, with both being downloaded from gamepass, but even with my same account.... it created a brand new acc on PC and I bought some stuff that I don't have on my main acc (Xbox) so my question is: What's gonna happen if I make my BHVR account??? Is it gonna merge em both?? Or I'm I gonna lose the one I don't link to that acc

Besides exclusive content, will all other outfits and charms be transferred in an account merge?

I think and hope that this solo survivor is a survivor from supernatural. they survived so much shit, or simple die and come back. And for a little more crazy meaning: Fallout, maybe from the TV show? (the Ghoul from the TV show survived for more than 200 years in that crazy world)

What if the new survivor is Deacon St John? BHVR worked on Days Gone and it has a difficulty named “survivor”. And that opens up collars with Sony

I am SO excited for 2v8mode. My friend who introduced me to DBD and I have always been like "Man I wish we could team together as killers". And now we literally can! Aww, this is gonna be such a fun mode.

NGL... The change on moris might be what turns me off from the game. Sure make the cypress base kit but I never play killer without an ebony mori. And I'm a killer main. It just feels more rewarding with it. I'd argue paying for a mori and then never seeing it because the last survivor escaped through hatch rng or having to wait for someone to die on hook so you can use it is simply not good design. The Moris have been fine since the last rework, literally who's asking for this? Thank god I didn't buy the wereelk, but sad I bough Naughty bear since the mori was the only reason I did so

finally I can play the game again. I used to play on xbox but over a year ago built a pc and couldnt play dbd with all the dlc's and tons of cosmetics. it will be nice to hop on again after so long.

I hope that they will add springtrap as killer or as survivor but as human version because he or michael would fit in dead by daylight

I think the finisher mori is fine, its only able to be used on the last survivor so its basically saying instead of having to go hook them you can mori them, whats the issue? This isnt like the old one where you are forced into it, you can stilll let people go or hook them if you want

As an Epic Games user I would like to play on console because there is an ongoing issue where the game crashes on launch and it's bren happening since 7.7.0 update.
