The Unseen Killers of Dead By Daylight! 

Apologies if there is any editing mistake or for my voice sounding different! Turns out I am sick 😅 This video will show some of the most interesting and with more "lore" killers in the tomes of Dead By Daylight. These are not all that appear, as there are cases of living statues, killer plants... but those appear only once. The only exception I did was with The Horror as I find that "Killer" to be extremely cool to be just used as lore! I might even make a video entirely dedicated to Saku as she has more lore than some of the actual playable survivors in the game!

Dredge's "War is Hell" cosmetic kind of reminds me of the lore of the Horror

The Horror is exactly what i thought it would be in Skull Merchant's teaser, i even mention it in various videos about this guy and honestly it would be fantastic seeing him... Sadly i think i might be only a lore killer and that's all

Evil Yui sounds like an awesome killer concept.

Honest to god a Dracula chapter is one of my most wanted additions to DBD. You get the icon himself as a killer, the badass that is Van Helsing as a survivor, and Dracula's Castle could be an absolutely gorgeous map of gothic architecture. There's also need for licensing since the story's in the public domain, and this would also let them be really creative with their character designs and how it could all fit into DBD's lore. This or a Frankenstein chapter in the same vein would just be an absolutely perfect love letter to classic horror.

Fun fact: The Horror's name might be a reference to a quote from the movie Apocalypse Now, in which a Vietnam war captain mutters "The horror, the horror..."

A Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde dynamic for a chapter is something I’ve wanted forever

I've wanted a World War-based chapter for a long time. A map based on muddy trenches, pillboxes, and barbed wire. A killer based on the gruesome horror of war. And a survivor based on a soldier that just wants to get home. I'd love to have such a map with some distant sounds of war in the background, and despite being mostly outside, it feels claustrophobic, like RPD or Lery's. Then a disfigured killer that hobbles around like Billy, but uses broken military equipment as their melee weapon, screams in pain as they chase their victims, and grows in strength from pain and conflict. It's a must to me, eventually.

The Yui comment being "Instead of becoming a motorcycle racer she kills pepole by pushing them off of cliffs" doesnt really tell what she actually does. This Yui is also trapped in the realms, and is actively going around killing other versions of *Herself*, as you can see in the same trailer when the snow rubs off of all the corpses, they are all also yui, i think its a very important detail that you shouldnt ignore

The wraith is pretty unseen, why isn’t he on this list?

It's crazy how they wanted to make a lore that big so everything makes sense. I didn't know about the lore I started playing because it was fun but might read it someday.

Great video. Think there's some more in Haddie's stories in the tomes. I think the first monster she goes against was one with hundreds of eyes and needle like teeth. Lots of potential for original chapters.

It is my opinion that eventually, every nonlicensed survivor should have a Killer counterpart. This would be what they eventually become if they don’t find a way out of the Entitiy’s realm, and because of multiple dimensions in the realm, you can have both Killer and Survivor at once.

i'd be interested in a vampire for a next killer i guess. it also makes all the dropped blood from an injury even more crucial like for oni to gain his power. so there could be a lot done with it.

Even if we get a vampire killer, I really want a bat/vampire artist skin because the swarms could be bats instead of birds.

7:15 it's an interesting idea that the spider could inflict them with a venom that would over time make the survivors unable to do cooperative actions with other survivors and probably other affects

Okay so I'm not trying to be that "actually" guy but I'm surprised you didn't elaborate on the whole Terra arachnid thing - the first part of the whole lore is some guy going on a rant about basically going on a psychotic episode, talking about how the spiders will change the world and how he'll "become the apocalypse". The rest of the lore caught my attention too, they end up making some type of poison gas to kill the spiders, which I could definitely see as a counter to the killers power like an EMP or a flame turret

I hope the samurai girl can be a survivor and killer, like you can switch between killer and survivor or maybe a future story mode.

The Killer Bunnies always reminded me of the Great Rabbit (Oousagi) from Re: Zero - Starting Life in Another World. Terrifying how one small fluffy creature can be made so unsettling by making it eat flesh.

I wanna see The Dustmite as a killer, you can't see it but it's there in just about every tome cutscene.

I just want to say that there are alot of killers that would be really cool: the vampire, the cultist, the werewolf and the mask. The vampire could make something like blood basins that the killer would be able to to fast travel too(like a unkown tp but its more like a nurse blink but bats instead of... well a nurse blink) altho they could be destroyed, the cultist could use an alternate attack that requires you hold m2 to initiate the alternate attack,(hold m2 to initiate then press m1 to stab the survivor) if this attack hits the survivor then it spawns a entitys tendril, the tendril applies teir 1 ruin and teir 1 mounstrous shrine and applies a terror radius within 28 meteres, can of course be destroyed. The werewolf could maybe charge forward fast while not hurting a survivor and then if a survivor is nearby the werewolf would lock onto them and give chase with the same charge however if they then hit a wall, get stunned or flashed then they go into a 3 second stun animation. The mask could be a mask, with dark twisting tendrils and maybe a double headed spear that could put masks that would haunt survivors and taunt them and chase then, revealing the survivors location to the killer, they could be destroyed if you where to sneak upp on them and break them or if they where to lose sight of the survivor then they would drop, (none of this is well balances but i just thiught that these where cool concepts and maybe someone aggres)

3:58 I think that a WW1 german soldier could very well fit in the game, maybe his power is like a mix between deathslinger with a rifle and clown with a gas grenade or something. also, voice lines in german of him taunting the survivors would be hilarious

I think The Horror being added would be dope as hell. However, I do think if a tome is ever made for said killer, it should show evil dictators and leaders. I know that sounds bad, but hear me out. Basically what I mean by this is that The Horror would essentially be the cause of something in war.

The only killer they added into the game from the lore is Blight. And they never did it again since then, so we just need simply forget about that I suppose. 😅

Imagine Conqueror Sultan Mehmed II comes as a survivor. The severed head of the slain Vlad III was sent to Istanbul to Mehmed II to prove that he had been killed. Mehmed II displayed it in the center of Istanbul and announced to his people that Vlad the Impaler was dead. Imagine Mehmet had a sword which everyone use it as a tool. You going to face it against killer for one use. Stuns Killer and slowed %15 for 30 secs due to the damage the killer take. Of course automaticly healed by entity and during chase it heals faster. Probably his perks would be info,high-risk high reward,save based perks he would have.

A more historical based vampire (impaling the survivors etc)would be cool as hell. Also, is the name of the Horror a reference to the end of Apocalypse Now?

I just realized the if they added The Horror then we would have 2-3 of the four horsemen of apocalypse Plague being well plague, the horror being war, then death could be someone like Oni or something. Then we would just need famine. Though war could be The Knight, but he doesn't deserve any praise like that.

To be honest, what mattered most to me about DBD was its lore. The problem is that they no longer focus on the lore, they give very little information and the characters are so many that we only create more theories instead of stories that are canon. Now they only care about selling skins and create collaborations to keep the lore afloat, but in a way that is too superfluous. Will there be a spider killer? No. Some kind of "spiderman"? Probably. All killers have some humanity, even the Singularity because, despite being a robot, it was created by humans. So I doubt that there is a killer that is 100% a spider. There will be a human mind behind it. The Xenomorph and the Demo honestly don't count, they are not original, they are just in the game to make money and his story is written so ambiguously that it is made not to be part of the lore (if it has to be deleted, no problem). The dredge is basically a tulpa created based on human beliefs (again human origin). And the Unknown is not far from that same path. Vampires will probably arrive in one way or another (original or collaboration). More than anything because the community always asks for them along with something similar to a werewolf and BHVR is not going to miss the opportunity to make money with that, although it is clear that they do not want to be obvious with a killer like that, so they will take their time to create something that looks and at the same time gave, but makes it clear that those gaps in the community are filled. I honestly prefer that they focus on fixing the gameplay (rubberbanding is back), and that they focus on what they have and stop being so ambiguous with the lore
