I think that with less hours of sleep your brain is a lil tired and that helps a lot with extroversion because introverts tend to overthink a lot of mundane situations, especially those involving socializing and you know it so you avoid them. But when your brain does not have the power to overthink you do not see yourself that awkward and as a result you aren't that awkward.... at least that is the logic i see behind it

I am an introvert and don’t want many friends, because of the fact that I have social anxiety. I can’t talk to people in person unless they have gained my trust.

I’m an introvert, and the weird thing with me is I want a lot of friends, but I prefer being by myself and I don’t like having too much social interaction, so I don’t have a lot of friends. Also, my number of friends significantly decreased ever since quarantine started, since I don’t even talk to most of them anymore. For the most part, I don’t care, but I’ve barely had any social interaction with any of them lately, so I really want to talk to those people again. Because even though I do want to be alone most of the time, I do still need to connect with others.

God blessed me with both(I literally shake when i nervous)

I would put it this way: Social anxiety is a disease. Makes you feel terribly nervous around people. Can be treated. Social skills is your set of abilities and how you behave around people. Can be learned and practiced. Being introverted or extroverted is more of your personality. It is not necessarily a problem.

@@trashboy1420 the good news is you can trat your social anxiety. Mine disappeared overnight with medication. But then I still had to work on my social skills, and I am still an introvert.

Juqavies P this is what he means by confusing stuff. Bringing introvert doesn’t mean your anxious or socially awkward it just means you like alone time in simple terms. That can lead to lack of social skills which can then lead to social awkwardness though. But it doesn’t always. There’s plenty of introverts that due to hobbies, jobs, school or whatever parts of life have no problem talking to strangers and having conversations, it just drains them so they don’t prefer it. Extroverts on the other hand spend less time by themselves and are usually not as good at introspection since they like to spend most of their time talking to others instead of thinking of themselves. However there’s plenty of extroverts who due to the same things such as jobs schools hobbies n life , never got to interact with people much and develop social skills which leads to them being shy N socially awkward due to fear of not being accepted
