@@glass12 if you have an offline scene for the game near you or a good internet provider to play against people in your region then definitely go for it. This game is a freakin' gem of the modern fighting game era !
@@glass12 It's a great game, if you can play it offline. I would suggest looking into your locals. If they use a console I would buy the game on that console and make sure you remember your credentials so you can log into your playstation account on-site, or bring your own PS4
I don't know if any of you were aware but GBVS Player 1 was actually a famous ex-Formula 1 driver, Firstname Lastname. Had a pretty short but notorious career.
I'll echo the sentiment, I'm still super hopeful for rollback on this game. Hell considering its slower pace, the rollback would work SUPERBLY well. T'was such a delightful game to play during its active months, but holy bajeebus the connections sometimes. Minor edit: Holy shit this game is still a delight watch. Makes me miss it even more.
If you want to see the most OD version, you have to watch Cagliostro's when she wins with it because they all get a bonus screen when they win with their super. It may be the best super in fighting game history for winning a tournament ever created.
Honestly, 2022 is looking like a rebirth year for Granblue, and even if it has delay-based netcode, there's a chance that with all the big tournaments that it's taking place during the next few months, and the 3 big mechanics coming in June, we might see a Season 3.
Yeah, Sajam's right. The counterhit sound effect on the Frying Pan is the funniest shit. Another amazing sound effect is the slap sound on Yuri's grab in KoFXV. Its never not funny.
I know it's said a lot, but I feel like if this game could get rollback and a decent sale it would be so much bigger than it already is. It's so fun to watch.
I really like the way the universal overhead and throws work in this game. It's a bit easier to block than Strive 5D but you get more from it, it's a bit safer, and it crushes lows/throws.

The funniest shit to me is everyone saying pls rollback without even pondering that most if not at all of these sets had fine connections. We all know it needs rollback. Sounds dumb to mention it at this point.
thanks for this again Sajam, i know you dont really get much money wise from doing stuff for more niche games like this and UNI but our communities really appreciate u
the belal/caglio matchup seems so so ass for caglio, my guy could not breathe, curious to see if staying so aggressive like the first game he won would have been successful though it’s also super risky since if you get cornered it’s round over
i bought it yesterday because even if i heard of the netcode it looked too good to keep skipping it and while i haven't tried online yet i found out that using Steam Remote play you can have perfect connection playing with friends so if you got some people to play with (even random people on discord i guess) this is a valid option that completely ignores the netcode issue (since the game runs in local and steam handles the connection)
