@@wilburwood8261 Which is the reason why everyone knew the Cards weren't in the running, ever. And they knew that. Basically all they did was take themselves out of the running, but showing to Cards fans they were doing something. No one ever thought they'd put up an honest effort.

It's better if Lars joined the Dodgers. It would be super to see him playing with Ohtani and Yamamoto. Watching team Japan in WBC was the best. The Japanese have good chemistry and so many different styles in pitching and batting.
