CAT S62 Pro: This Rugged Smartphone Hides an Amazing Superpower 

Cat phones may not be the baddest and fastest phones but they're almost impossible to destroy no matter how tough you are in it during an avg day. My first one (cat s60) I used to drop it from head height onto a concrete floor when someone was looking just to see them panic lol. Of course att ended 3g so I had to upgrade after 3yrs of torture testing it.

What happens if you use it with a normal (white light) optical lens adapter (which exist for phones, like the ExoLens) whether telephoto or wide angle, will the white light field of view changes still be observed?

It's a very interesting feature, i think there are some accessories for some devices that allow to see infrared

Does it come with the laser measurer like the S61? Also, does anyone know if the regular CAT S62 have the FLIR, LASER MEASURER, & AIR METER LIKE THE S61?

Oooh, I keep getting drawn back to this phone, that thermal infrared camera seems absolutely spectacular! The price point is a bit high though, and it's starting to get on in age (as evidenced by the processing power) so I keep wondering whether a FLIR dongle is a better choice.

Unfortunately it is missing the ANT+. That keeps me still from getting it. Maybe when my other phone breaks one day

I just got this phone! I absolutely love it. I found many thermal phones but let's be real here and pick CAT! Most other thermal phones are Chinese. Gotta support American/North American brands!

The FLIR app sucks. You ought to delete cache and user data to make it work each time.
