Returned to a pre ICAST fishing trip with friend and guide Brian Nelli - www.tckayakfishing.com Fishing had been really slow but we tried our best. I suggested trying jigging and it was challenging. Really I had no clue how to jig tuna like this and it was cool to see Brian get it done. I landed a lot of albies in two days and am looking forward to getting my game down for the next trip there. Unlike any other fishing I have done in the past.
Brian filleted them, chilled them, and served with rice and spicy mayo and a little sesame seed topping. Probably one of the best fish I've ever eaten raw. If they were in kayak range for me...I'd target them all the time!
