New watcher, but I find myself watching for a couple hours a day. I’m new to bass fishing ( I love flathead catfish) but my son absolutely loves bass fishing. So I done as any dad would do.. I dropped 1500 at bass pro lol and started watching RU-vid lol and after hours and hours of watching so so videos.. I finally found your awesome video on a chatter bait! And I gotta say man.. your by far the best educational videos on RU-vid! Thanks for your help and keep up the grate work man.
Watch Tacticle bassin on RU-vid they are the most educational for literally everything as far as baits, rods, reels Ect I wish I found them 10 years ago when I started bass fishing
So I have everything you can imagine when it comes to bass fishing because I bought it from my dad cause he’s is getting into fly fishing. I have been going fishing for like almost a year with my new tackle weather that be ponds lakes river everything. I’ve literally have caught one fish that entire time because I snuck on a golf course, It’s honestly embarrassing and makes me mad I don’t get it. I feel I have the technique down I watch tons of videos learn about the places I’m fishing before I go I feel I know what I’m doing but I’m not catching anything. I live in Arizona so I know the fishing isn’t the best but like com on I should be catching some fish. Could you please help me out I’m literally losing my mind. 😅
I find the ned rig kills it in pre-spawn. Especially if you use a reddish soft plastic color. Then again, you wont be getting any monsters using the ol' ned lol.
Just bought some deep cranks...now to find somewhere to fish them! Thanks for the tips. I've been throwing a vibtaring jig with white skirt & having little success. I've been wondering whether I should switch to green pumpkin...guess this is my sign.
Another sick video I am so hyped for our bass fishing season starting in 3 weeks here in 🇨🇦 we still have ice over our water eh can’t wait for the trout and bass season eh tabernac. We will be up to our tits in bass this season eh!
ALL of these lures are bonafide fish catchers! I have had a lot of luck on a swimbait rigged on a flashy swimmer and a chatterbait in the pre-spawn. I started fishing a finesse swimbait this year and I have been having great success on it, when do you think would be the best time of year to through a finesse swimbait? Great content Tyler, keep on grinding!
So far this season the Chatterbait and KVD 1.5 Squarebill are the best producers for me in eastern Massachusetts. Waters still pretty chilly but the bigger fish seem to be up relatively shallow . Jerkbait and lipless get an honorable mention
Any pair that’s got a grey base or amber/yellow base. If your eyes can be comfortable wearing those for hours, then stick with them. Mine can’t handle the super bridge yellows and golds that some guys swear by
Experienced bass fisher but just always throw the same thing, love the in depth aspects of your videos, little better and more in-depth than wired 2 fish on some stuff
Awesome video you always make the best fishing instructional videos and I love the pre spawn bite it’s epic and can’t wait for them to be on beds and catch my PB
It’s about 50/50 in march and April. The entire 10 days series has been public water, but sometimes my schedule/family life/travel/weather conditions/etc dictates private waters places. I fish more private in the spring than I do the summer though that’s for sure. 98% of video you see from NY, Michigan, or Minnesota is public water. And 60% or so from Texas is
It's snowing today in IL. The fish are about as confused as most of us bank pounders. I will go out tomorrow and try chatters. Thank you for explaining the patterns here and in the new vid.
Spinnerbait is a personal favorite of mine. I tend to catch more bass on the Spinnerbait over the chatterbait in colder water temperatures tho here in Ohio. Have a good day 👍 ✌☮
I throw vibrating jigs every time I go fishing, using different sizes, colors, brands, trailers, retrieves, etc and I have NEVER caught a single fish on one. Its the oddest thing ever!! I guess fish in my area don't care for them or I'm doing it all wrong. Who knows??
@@TylersReelFishing I've watched several of your videos on them but bass just wont eat mine or I'm going numb in the hands. Lol. But, a quitter I am not! Thanks for the info and encouragement Tyler! You're a really valuable resource.✌🏾
I believe it could be the reel ratio. 6 to1 to 1. Is a very good ratio. Also the retrieve. Reel stop. Reel Reel stop. Try different speeds and retrieves. I use a CHARTREUSE and White with a pearl white paddle tail. Good luck! Shawn.
It is so crazy how different parts of the country have different staged fish. Here in North Florida, we are mostly in the post spawn with water temperatures in low to mid 70's. Great video regardless, and look forward to more!
