I love these perspective looks. Since the books follow everything from Katniss' perspective, it's refreshing to see the overall story from another character's perspective. Wonder when Mockingjay from Peeta's perspective will be uploaded.

When the first movie came out, I got my dad to take me to the theater. I had been trying to get him to read the books but he would tease me that they were girly books. I bet him if he didn't like the movie I would stop bugging him but if he liked it he had to read the books. He kept asking me why I hated Gale so much. I hadn't said anything but I'm very expressive and he could read my face every time Gale came on the screen. I just told him he'd have to read the books to find out or wait until all the movies came out. I still remember being in my room and hearing him yell for me when he got the that part of the books. Because yeah, he liked the movie so he had to read the books. Now we both hate on Gale together!

Honestly I'm a Gale hate club member he was the worst. He was so pushy when it came to anything romantic and he did all that stuff in Mockingjay that was absolutely unacceptable. Maybe he didn't know prim would be there but he knew that innocent people would be there and that's messed up enough

Yeah I have a nonstop phase, I sorta made 3 hunger games stories about my character who wins the 72nd Hunger Games, his dad who wins the 42nd Hunger Games, and a book about what if Cato and Clove won instead of Katniss and Peeta and tied that into my first two stories and tie my character and them into catching fire and mockingjay.

Your videos stay getting me through the dragging this semester has been. I’m excited for mockingjay from Peeta’s perspective! Peeta is the superior YA dystopian leading hero/love. Like, obviously the movies really screwed him up but the books?!?! Suzanne knew exactly what she was doing!! The fanfiction is actually really cool bc it allows us to see things that Katniss didn’t, as we were solely relying on her pov in the trilogy. Peeta is actually a lot more complex than a lot of ppl notice & bring in his pov is really interesting.

Your first video made we want to reread the series, and I cannot thank you enough!! Everyone I know surely hates me now, but from Tuesday til Friday I binged the audiobooks; and could not talk about anything else. I had forgotten how great the books where, and how amazing Peeta is omg. I did not appreciate him enough when I read the books as a kid. One of my first special interests I remember is the hunger games from 4th and 5th grade. It came back as a special interest last year and then it came back again about a month again. I reading the series for the third time now.
