Good stuff Dusty, that first one was a beast 👍, the last one had some beautiful colors! You really showed your talent in not so great conditions! Keep getting after them buddy! Tight lines
Thank you kindly my good sir.👌😁 Yes the conditions have been absolutely atrocious this past month. Fortunately the water temps are staying mild though and the 90s are out of the forecast for a minute. Lol Tight Lines as always Brotha 🤙
@@HammeringthegiantswithMasonL I spool 8 Lb. Stren….. definitely enables you to horse them a bit…. I like to get them in the basket ASAP…. #1 you don’t drain their energy completely & they recover way faster & #2 less chances of losing them or have them wrap something & break you or just plain lose them since I pinch all my barbs, the more thrashing/jumping they do the better chance they have of popping off! 👌🤙
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Nice1 Dusty it just makes swapping lures or spinners so much easier 😁 I wanted to ask about the steamers you use as I’ve often thought about trying them but didn’t know it was a thing until I saw your vids are they streamers that fly fishermen use & are they single hooks on them I’d appreciate some info on them if you have time 😉 Thanks pal take care & Tight lines ✌🏼💙👍🏼🏴
@@craigleith100 yes, they are the exact same thing that fly fisherman use my buddy that ties them for me actually runs them on his fly pole. They are basically just a jig with marabou & a single hook. Unfortunately, he’s not selling them to public or I would give you some more information on them! 🥴🤷♂️
The males have a much longer head, and their bottom jaw is generally hooked or kyped…. The females heads are much shorter & more rounded in comparison to the males…… these are very noticeable on fish that are 20 inches or larger, not as noticeable on the smaller trout. The males will look more like a gator or musky.
@@chrisst.4290 as I mentioned before, the head is about the best way to tell. The males will have a longer head and mouth, more aggressive looking, and the females are more rounded and shorter headed!
Definitely in full agreement with you. I recently lost my pair that I had hanging on my vest. If you watch my other videos, I illustrate my use for them and praise.👌
Hey man you mind sharing a video or talking in private about these weighted streamers you use? Up here in michigan have alot of fly only zones and alot of friends that cant fly fish. These would work great. Got amy other handles of contact?
@Chasing The Wild with Dusty Rhoads I'm looking for more of a close up on it. I avidly tie flys and would like to see roughly what Oz head you're running with what materials. Pretty neat having a special hook up though!
