Yeah I do my best! It's just that I'm so busy guiding and dealing with my other businesses that I don't get much time to fish myself! Much less sit down and do a bunch of editing! But I'll do my best! Just bare with me! Again thanks for your support and good fishing to you!
How did I set up a charter with you to go bass fishing with shiners? I’d be coming all the way from south Mississippi. Keep up the good working and you’ll get that Florida state record!
Another great day on the water Captain, second trip was a great decision to make, tight lines and best regards from Trout boys of Kiwiland in Down Under.
Thanks Tony! As you guys know you have to have a flexible game plan to be consistently successful! Always great to hear from my favorite hunting and fishing guides down under!
Good to see you're still catching those trophy bass C.C. !!! Playing catch-up on the videos, it's been awhile! Gonna watch all your other videos between now and a few days. We've been so swamped with work, 6 day weeks & resting Sunday's. I'm not getting to go bass fishing hardly at all. But just a couple weeks ago, I was able to go, and due to high wind conditions, large wild shiners weren't available down here anywhere........dog gone it. I need to buy another cast net & catch my own. Caught a few 6 to 7.5 lb'ers so far this year. Guess I should count my Blessings anyway. I may get to go next weekend hopefully. Good to see ya Brother! Steve.....Melbourne Fl.
IVE been waiting patiently for your next videos because it’s some cool stuff shoot yeah, shoot yeah!!CC I cant wait to fish with you and enjoy my life once again peace out!!
The next Dug Hannon , CC I'm surprised you're not a record holder by now. Keep it up it's coming and I can't wait to see it. I'd love to see you and bama_bass go head to head. Congrats on another giant.
@@dzoldnuts Yeah I know, but this is about the time I start getting a little bored with the big bass and I want to change things up. I still got some guide trips to do. Some up into May. So it looks like the salt might have to wait a little bit longer.
@@TheNorthFloridaAngler I use to fish out of Jacksonville for big reds and Black Drum From 82-84... No limit then... Filled coolers up... Always good around the jetties in Mayport and down below the 95 bridge on the oyster beds... Miss it
Yep! Maybe one day you will. Call me and we can talk about it. I don't like to guide more than 3 or 4 days a week now and my wife likes us to take the RV and go on lots of week long camping trips. So sometimes I'm not even around. When I get back I might have 50 messages on my answer machine of people wanting me to take them fishing. I eventually will get back to them. It just might take me a while.
@@kevinatwell9781 There's no way I could go into that much detail in this forum. But when checking out a new lake I like to spend a day going over it with my electronics. I look for submerged grass, brush piles, fallen trees, points. Submerged or other wise. I like areas that have a mixture of different types of vegetation. I look for creek channels, drop offs and humps. Also I try to actually spot fish with my side imaging. After that I start fishing the different areas using which ever shiner fishing technique is best suited for that particular spot.
Don’t you ever catch catfish or gar or something else on shiners or do you really only ever get bass? You should show us the catfish you catch if you ever get any.
Good job releasing her where you caught her. This time of year you never know if she’s on a bed so it’s not good to catch her and release her somewhere else
Yeah I usually try to say their a little smaller on camera than what I really think they are. Lately though I've been messing up with these post spawn bass. Some fish may loose close to two pounds after the spawn.
