@@fullcircleangling No problem Dave I've never used crab cart or the salted wings as I normally fish the beaches but I'm going to luck for some good rock marks on the holderness coast and have a go with some salted wings, fresh blacks and squid for the cod hopefully may try and see if my m8 wants to try in your back yard as there are some fab rock marks. Rod wise you couldn’t go wrong with a Komp SS (I’ve just bought a second hand one!) second hand or first hand if you’re wanting to spend a bit. Tip Tornado Graphex Sport is a cracking rod. The T900’s are popular as are the T1000’s but they’re a lot of rod length and power wise in my view. Zziplex wise HST Evo/M427//Zeteque Reel wise at the budget end a Penn Spinfisher/Battle will do you, medium range a Slammer or Shimano Saragossa. If you wanted to go top end something like a Shimano Power Aero//Bulkseye/Aero Technium or a Penn Authority. Hope that helps, any further queries do let me know. Cheers

Weather stops him using drone and camera. Also I commend him for not disclosure of marks that he's never fished before because it's more than likely someone else's local Mark and yes lots of other people will hit the mark if you tell them where you are!!!

@@BigT73 So you say weather stops him using camera etc, well that wasn't the case for collywell bay because if I recall he states in the video that there was a strong westerly wind? As for someone else's marks so collywell isn't then as I know lots of the lads in the local clubs and pleasure anglers have fished around there for years and it's local to them, but as a result of the video the place has been rammed with anglers the past few weeks meaning they can't fish there local mark!

Ok, so in terms of some marks being publicised and some not; firstly I’d like to say that the channel was purely set up as a bit of fun, to provide some lighthearted entertainment to fellow anglers and to help people coming into the sport, particularly youngsters. As you’ve probably seen we like to provide as many visuals as possible in order to make videos as entertaining as they can be. Regarding the publication of marks, we’ve always acknowledged that some marks are fished regularly by locals (myself included don’t forget, I’m from Newcastle and the likes of Collywell and others are marks I’ve also fished for years, in clubs too when I used to be a member of them), so those marks we haven’t publicised. Some more well known marks that we fish during the day that everyone knows we’ll show, because there’s nothing secret about them and it provides an enhanced video for people to hopefully enjoy watching. Colleywell, I thought, fitted into the latter category - ie I thought it was well known, not least because every time I’ve fished it over the years (way before RU-vid) there were people on it and it was pretty popular, notwithstanding you can google just about every nook and cranny between Tynemouth and Seahouses and there’s information online. However, I’ll hold my hands up and acknowledge that I was wrong, it seems that it wasn’t as well known as I’d assumed and has subsequently created a bit of controversy, which believe me, was the last thing I wanted to create. Further consideration will be given to publishing some marks in future I can assure you. If those that report or video chase, flock to marks on the back of someone catching a few fish then they’re on a journey and they’ll soon realise that it’s not that easy and very quickly lose interest in that mark before they move to the next place. In some respects, loads of people flocking to one mark only creates space at others doesn’t it? So there’s a silver lining if you’re looking at a half full glass… Hope that explains the sentiment and just to reiterate, the channel is just a bit of light entertainment and fun for fellow anglers, it was never supposed to create controversy.
