Finally, a new video!!
Man life gets busy some times. It isn't like I haven't been fishing. I have. What I haven't had time for is editing and producing. That stuff eats up a lot of time! But, I got this one done and am happy to post it.
I have the files from several other outings. Here's to hoping that I can find the time to get them edited and posted in a timely manner!
Anyway, there wasn't much summer left when I made this trip and I knew fishing would be tough. Catching trout in the late summer is often difficult. This trip proved no different. With the cooler weather and clear water, my choice was to spend the day fishing crankbaits for trout.
Cooler weather Brown Trout fishing has it's challenges. Trout seem to have their mouths locked before the spawn. The lures I use are the same as any other time when pre-spawn Brown Trout fishing. In line spinners of a variety of sizes and colors along with small jointed crankbaits.
At the end of the day, I caught a few. Not many. And, as for the big one, I didn't catch it. That's okay though. I do not want to catch a trophy Brown Trout every outing. Where would be the fun in that?
Thank you for watching.
