I have this game and I think it’s really good actually. Reading the rules definitely was confusing but once you play it’s quite simple and fun!

What other games have players bidding by placing their bids facedown and declaring an amount (that may or may not be true) and the highest bid wins? So you can try to bluff your opponents but still need to put up enough to win, even if it isn't as much as you claimed.

I have this game but haven't played it in a long time. Never really cared for it. My recollection was that most of the animals ended up not really mattering because the top couple of most valuable animals were so much more valuable.

It does look fun, though I do wonder a little if Zee's not right, that you don't gain enough gameplay-wise compared to the two (now three!) card game versions.

In "You're Bluffing" you always keep your zeros. Is it really different here? Also, do you really keep the opponent's money if you win the bid when an offer was made? You should either get the animal and lose the money or vice versa.
