Catharsis is a recent composition by Amy Cann. It is played fast and furious, and combines a double shuffle with a fingered descending bass line. In this fiddle lesson I tell the story behind the tune's origin, demonstrate the basic melody, and suggest simplification for those who find the B section a little too hard.
