It took me until today to be able to watch this. You are a brave and beautiful woman, you respond with class to everything that is thrown at you. I am so glad that you have your first family that loves and supports you unconditionally. They raised a beautiful human. I am also happy that the royal family is supporting you. Your struggle is very human. The stress and scrutiny that you have been subjected to over the last few years will have contributed to your overall wellbeing. Take care of yourself and your beautiful family. Turn off all the other noise.

@@angelatester2471 I just listened to her again more closely. She says she HAD cancer. Not 'has.' I'm assuming that the surgery removed the cancer & that's why chemo is a "preventative." That sounds much more promising to my ears.

I mean they were right there was more to it though. It would probably have been better for her to say something even if it wasn’t the full truth than put out fake pictures etc and disappear. Of course she can do what she wants but she is in a very public role and of course ppl will talk.

@@xo2quilt Thank you. I’ve been through early stage cancer without having to undergo chemo or extensive surgery, and even so cancer just plain sucks. I’m happily a fifteen- year survivor, but I still remember how hard and scary it is to get a cancer diagnosis, no matter what kind or stage it is. Catherine, like the late queen and King Charles, always strives to be kind and to do the right thing. I feel so sad for her that she has to go through this after the challenging several years she has faced personally. The same is true for King Charles.
@@lindaboulton7100 You are so right! I can’t imagine how hard it must be to have both your father and beloved wife diagnosed at the same time. Both Catherine and King Charles have good prognoses, but dealing with a cancer diagnosis and treatment in just one family member is a scary, stressful period of time for the family, and William is supporting two patients, both remarkable people very dear to him, Catherine and King Charles. William has been amazing! He needs our support, too!

I am an Oncology Data Specialist (second career) and know that cancer treatment is MUCH more advanced than it used to be. Many people survive this disease and live years of normal life. That is what I am praying for the Princess. So many people will get this diagnosis and need to know it is survivable in many cases! Good on you, Catherine, in taking time to prepare your children for what must be scary news. Don't give in to the press! They don't need to know anything but what you have told them. You have many people behind you who want you to heal and focus on your family.

How cold that not one of you who earn your living scrutinizing every inch of this woman’s life could introduce her brave statement, forced by the media circus and intrusion even into her medical records. Nor even one word of support afterwards. After shamefully spending how much time diagnosing her attempt to pacify with a Mother’s Day photo? You could have risen above and simply shown it and stated your desire only to wish her well. I’m not surprised that none of the usual royal reporters of any kind seem to have the courage to show their faces today.
