Judge Caprio is my tranquilliser. Whenever I get upset or depressed, I start watching his shows. The warmth I feel while watching the proceedings lifts my spirits.

It's hard to believe a judge like this exists in today's world. What a great judge who shows compassion. The world needs more people like him.

I just found out about Judge Caprio today when there was an article in the San Francisco Chronicle about him. I sat down thinking I would watch one episode and found myself watching for over an hour. What a kind, considerate person he is. He is to be commended for his compassion.

Mr. Caprio IS certainly THEE most classiest, respectful, compassionate judge America has EVER seen. I hope he presides until he's 119 !!!

I love this Judge he has compassion

Judge Capria displays qualities that most people that come before him are very lucky to witness. He is no shmuck and not anybody's fool but he is fair in all the matters that are brought before him. The incredible thing about him is he is not just a kind guy when administering his decisions but is a sweet guy and the kind of person that people look at and often wish they had a dad or a grandpa just like him. My wife and I watch him on RU-vid every chance we have and we live in Thailand since moving from the states.

Dear Judge, not sure if you are reading this but I haven't missed a single video of yours. To keep it short, very few empathy in this world today and you sir, amazing. I idolise you. The world needs alot of empathy and humanity right now. I try my best to be a good citizen but when I lookup for your videos, that's inspiration. Please do more of these. The funny thing is everyone of the defendant loves him, and thinks he is fair and square, also kind.

He reminds me of Grandpa teaching you a lesson and discipline where you know you got the only break in a way I wouldn't want to let him down after and that you listen to and respect in a way that feels good !

Watching from Ottawa, Canada I would like to see our municipal court judges be as joyous as you are! Congratulations, keep it up!

If the whole justice system worked like this court, and showed even a 10th of the compassion our prisons will be empty. Parking your car should not be illegal to begin with. I am a disabled veteran and i have been pulled into court for not paying 1 ticket, here to find out my disability was not considered in the writing of the ticket. The judge read the summons and dismissed it because i was parked legally in a handicap zone with no timer or pay meter. It violated city ordinance, county ordinance, state ordinance and also federal ordinance. The ticketing officer was reprimanded, made to apologize and sent through a re-training course. She could have lost her job but i told the judge no, i would have settled for the ticket being voided. ADA laws were violated as well however i asked the judge not to send it for federal level. Ignorance of the law is not a defense and the judge slammed her pretty hard for it because they take hours of education on the very topic of disabled/handicap ticket. I was in clear compliance with all laws and ordinances. The judge apologized to me even though he didn't have to, the chief even apologizes for not training the parking enforcement officers on proper procedures. The attorney in the defense tried to use the how do we really know he was disabled. You don't get a Disabled License plate in this state without them contacting the Doctors/Military/Hospital etc. The judge slammed the attorney hard because if i have that license plate it means the DMV has certified through medical records i am disabled, they don't need me to provide proof. While i applaud CJ Frank Caprio i just wish some of that justice was served here. Many of my disabled veteran friends and those non-military are regularly ticked in this town, only one case was ever prosecuted because the tags were stolen. 129 tickets issued 1 prosecuted from 2010 till 2017 While that may seem like few tickets, the total overall ticket rate for that 7 year span was over 5000, prosecuted 178, most ended in dismissal and some were actual infractions and fines etc were issues. Pay attention to the law, read the ADA( Americans with Disability Act) read the Constitution, and know the city your in. They have a thousand loopholes they can use against you. Never give them that chance. This judge rocks, and fines or dismissals all seem compliant and compassionate. We need this guy on the supreme court. Thank.

Thank God for judges who is not only fair but has a heart. We have a great judge in Blue Springs, Mo. as well like this.

This Judge is the nicest man, I also wish we had Judges in our area with this kind of heart. I had open heart surgery. Emergency surgery and a Judge in my county put a warrant for my arrest for child support knowing full well I was in the hospital. I was 16 days late on paying my support. Never late prior to this. And two Deputy's came to the hospital to arrest me. Of course they couldnt. I was hooked up to 4 IV's a feeding tube and a drain tube coming out of my chest. But the court wanted my money no matter what. I could never see this Judge doing something so crass. Love this JUDGES HEART. Great man.

Having stumbled on this Judge, a man with a heart that shows understanding and compassion and fairness but also when his kindness is abused being very firm that as a man and a Judge deserves absolute respect, this judge surely loves life and not just his own, i have to say it, God bless him. This is the best Judge i have ever seen! What a outstand individual.One with a heart, and is firm, fair and consistant. A honest man. One with a great attitude and sence of hummor. Wish that they all was like him. He should school all the other Judges out in America. And let him be a Great example, of a fair trial. To bad that there is not more judges like him. I really enjoy watching this Judge he totally should have his own show on tv. The only ones on there think the people are beneath them. And speak down to them like there better than them, and never make mistakes. We should have This Judge on TV to promote the True justice of America! Great Job Mr Frank Caprio! Well done. If the rest of the Judges in any jurisdiction showed the heart and understanding that this Judge showed in these cases that were brought before him our legal system would run like a fine tuned watch. His ruling's show what a Judge should be, and should be required to be watched and examined by all new Judges and all other Judges and graded on their results and understanding of his ruling. I have not seen any other Judges that meet his calm and reasoned decisions and that in itself show me, at least what is wrong in our legal system. Thank you Judge Frank Caprio for a lesson in how our legal system should work and how a Judge can truly make a difference.Great work your Honor, and thank you for the lesson!!
