Yea, I wish they hadn't decorated the room cauliflower themed. It would've been better if he had eaten the dishes normally then found out then cooked it
I thought you were making a funny comment about how they should have disguised the dirty dishes as cauliflower and see if he noticed while washing them
Comment Percentages: 70% He doesn’t hate it he just wanted a free meal 20% You can make anything taste good with the right cooking skills 10% his hair is cauliflower
Black man looking for free food searches for free cauliflower 😂! 10% of those who said his hair is cauliflower are clearly ignorant and bald😂! 20% who said you can make anything taste good with the right cooking skills are educated😂.
If your son didn't eat cauliflower, just let an Indian mom handle him for an hour. After that he will eat any raw vegetables without any fancy cooking.
Ok I'm glad she made him cook with cauliflower later but like...dude I ain't making arancini by myself at home -_- or risotto. Too much time and I'd rather just roast cauliflower in the oven (best way to eat it in my opinion)
D Hoosier hey thanks for being the only positive commentor here. As for roasting it's relatively easy. Chop the cauliflower in any size floret you want (I like to keep them in medium size chunks or just get the precut cauliflower if you don't have much time), coat in a couple tablespoons of oil and whatever spices you want (salt and pepper too of course) then toss onto a baking sheet in a 425 F oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is brown around the edges (you can also lift one of the pieces up and see if the side that's touching the sheet is fully browned). Hope that helps and enjoy!
Brian People have jobs and school and that's why, more often than not, because of the lack of time they consume processed and junk food. It's definitely easy to chop up something and throw it in the oven while you do something else. Not all people can include in their little free time to spend even an hour (leave alone more) in the kitchen.
what is with people? Cauliflower is fantastic! I love it raw or lightly steamed with broccoli under a fresh bechamel cheese sauce. I love it raw, riced, steamed, seared, barbecue, baked, anything you can do with it I am game on.
Raw cauliflower is a little bland but has its own slightly sweet flavor without chlorophyl like with broccoli. Steamed with some salt and/or butter is the easiest way to experience it cooked. It's softer and the sodium pops the flavor. A little squeeze of fresh lemon really makes it pop. Again, a sharp cheddar or Emmenthaler swiss cheese sauce is splendid on top. Never use Velveeta - the little bit of time to make a true Bechamel is so worth the minimal effort.
Why am I really smiling ear to ear, on the edge of my seat the whole time?? lol Chef Yadi is so contagiously enthusiastic and fun and TALENTED Then john is like a child slowly coming to enjoy foods he hated a.k.a adorableness I love this whole thing~
I totally agree and maybe this is n unpopular opinion, but I think the same thing with tofu. I don get how people can hate it when you can make it any thing you want.
Joop Hooijmans When I first saw it, I thought it would taste like American style pasta salad because it had an oil and vinegar based dressing drizzled over it. It was 100x better. It was sweet and slightly acidic and the cauliflower had a slight charred taste with notes of complex bitterness to it from being roasted. I'm not that knowledgeable about food, or I would've gone into more detail, sorry. 😭 If you're ever in the Washington DC area, visit the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History. It has amazing exhibits and the food is to die for.
its cauliflower nonetheless you idiot, you eat a fuckin raw garlic it wouldnt be as delicious as it is cooked. you eat a cooked pork with no seasoning at all it wouldnt be as delicious as it is seasoned. you eat a pasta with no sauce.. you get the point, as a child i absolutely hated spaghetti because i ate the bad one from this awful restaurant and i have this stigma that pasta is just disgusting. kind of boiled noodle with tomato sauce whats so good about it, then as a teenager i gave it another try, boy how big of a regrets coming onto me not eating this frequent as a kid. its not the because the spaghetti as a whole is bad, its how you cook it. think before you comment dumbass
Lilac Petals oops too hard on this.. sry, think i was having a rough day that day lmao, shouldve been 'chiller' (wut?) But my point stands. Sorry for the inconvinience. ;D
I’ve found that most foods people think they don’t like can be prepared in a way they will like. I used to HATE spinach. I’d only ever had it from a can and I couldn’t stand the texture. One day I had a sandwich and it had funny looking (but yummy) lettuce on it. I asked what it was and was shocked when they said it was spinach, I had no idea what it looked like raw! It’s now one of my favorite veggies and I MUCH prefer it on my sandwiches than lettuce. 😊 I’m still on my way with some veggies, like squash and zucchini. I’m not too big of a fan of either, but I can tolerate them fried and grilled.
I always liked spinach because I've only had it fresh. I've never even had the canned stuff before. Canned food in general though grosses me out (with the exception of canned soup). If you like pasta, I'd definitely suggest trying making a pasta recipe using zucchini as the noodle base instead of regular noodles. I had zucchini done this way once at a restaurant and it tasted really good, you could probably find a recipe online if you need help figuring out what to do to make it that way.
Unicorn Lady (formerly archiecook55) yeah, canned food is usually pretty gross, soup is an exception, as you said. I am interested in trying zucchini as “pasta”. I’ve seen it on a few videos and I’m definitely open to trying it! 😊
I can't stand cucumbers and I've always had it fresh. Stir fried, fresh, even boiled, nope. I love crunchy vegetables and juicy fruits, but I just can't stand the strange smell and taste cucumbers have. Would eat watermelon over cucumbers anyday :(
