Cave on a cliff in north Georgia-Atwood point talus cave

I think this is the Atwood talus point cave in North Georgia on pigeon mountain. It's located on the cliff just below the top of the cliffs at atwood point. The views were incredible everywhere from the hike up the valley to the cliffs and cave itself.

There are a ton of caves within a mile radius of where this is. All the water from the mountain flows into Schreiber's extension and other streams hundreds of feet underground. These are accessible via the raccoon room in Petty John's cave. I'd highly highly highly reccomend, but you won't be able to explore it all. There are 7 miles of mapped tunnels in Petty John's, and many massive rooms.

Yeah im currently exploring a lot of the caves. And petty johns is my favorite. Me and my brother have explored almost every room except way down shreibers extension and parts of the labyrinth and outer limits. I even free climbed up the pole climb at the emerald pool which was nuts.

I'm enjoying your videos. However, they sometimes cause me great anxiety. When you stand looking over a cliffs edge or dark pit, climbing rocks on an edge or in caves near pits without any rope, using the "sketchy" tree limbs in this video and the tight narrow holes inside caves. I enjoy the beauty of what's underground. I love caves and caverns (that I can walk in). I sure hope you tell someone where you are going to explore before you leave and stick to that plan. Keep the videos coming and stay safe.
