Caving in Porth Yr Ogof 

I remember caving here as a child with school , I loved it at the time. Not sure I’d feel so calm in such a confined space these days.

Another nice video Keith. Thanks for putting this up it brought back some good memories. On one occasion I was helping to take a group of scouts down there. Just before we entered a couple of the scouts discovered their lights were being temperamental. We had spares in the minibus so a couple of us legged it back to get them replacements. It was a hot summer day and we were sweltering in our wetsuits. In the meantime another group of scouts was sat on a ledge by the entrance and their leader was giving them a talk on dos and don'ts and especially NOT to jump in the water. Unfortunately at this point there was a loud "Yehar!" and huge splash as me and my mate did a running leap from the ledge above into the water in order to cool off and soaked the lot of them in the process (We didn't know they were there. Honestly!). Of course all our other friends pretended not to know us muttering loudly about irresponsible cowboys giving proper cavers a bad name, whilst trying not to kill themselves laughing.

Love your videos. Miss exploring caves near Shasta, CA. USA. Nothing this crazy...but super fun for a chicken like me.

That Rock surface in the letterbox looked so smooth!

I went to this exact cave and I remember doing the letter bow but I also did something called the worm hole, the toilets and the white line challenge

i went to plas pencelli and went through porth yr ogoth it was terrifying

Didint fancy the washing machine or the toothpaste tube? :P that letterbox looks waaay smaller than when i went though there last in my teens !
